Exploring out of the way places that are not often visited. I am currently in the American Southwest, but hope to expand in time. Abandoned mines, ghost towns, highways, and railroads are all possible subjects.
Abandoned RV Park with Hot Tub and Swimming Pool
I found an abandoned RV Park in the California desert right off the highway. It doesn't appear to have been in operation for too long, and it seems to have been abandoned over 25 years ago.
It was probably considered pretty modern while it was open. It had plenty of lots laid out in an organized manner with electric hookups and sewage.
The park also had what appeared to be a store / snack bar/ game room, and also a bathroom area with showers.
A large, deep swimming pool for cooling off and a hot tub for cool winter evenings likely kept the snowbirds content.
I made this video a couple years ago. With the heat and taking some time away over the last few weeks, I couldn't finish my current project, so I thought I would share one of my early videos.

Looks like you'd enjoy softer suspension on that atv. Try relaxing some spring tension. I'm sure they're adjustable shocks ?

Where is this?? No mention of the location at all in the title or in the video. The one cement foundation is probably the base for a propane tank.
A lot of people choose not to disclose the location of places, because they end up getting destroyed by vandals. I can say this one was on I-8 near Holtville, but it has been bulldozed. Thanks for watching.

Liked the video ! You're in pretty good shape judging by how you climbed around those rocks . I used to do that too ... 30 years ago LOL . Any information on the wreckage , military aircraft maybe ?
