I'm a mum in Brisbane... It really captures parenting vibe here in Brisbane. It's awesome to see my city and our way of life being celebrated. Most people have played backyard cricket, beach cricket, school cricket. It's like a cultural thing also to watch it or listen to the commentary. It's the sound of summer..

I love how the show uses genuine settings around Brisbane. Brisbane usually misses out on mass media attention to Sydney, Melbourne and the Out Back. 👍

Hiya, I'm an English cricket fan and avid "disliker" of the Aussie cricket team and I must say that you got the point that it was more about cricket it's also about the spirit of cricket and more than that correct me if I'm wrong about Australian cricket in it's self it references Don Bradman (Historically known as one of the greatest of all time and a couple runs away from an average of 100) where Rusty copies a similar drill that he did and of course the Australian cricket team where at the end he walks out to bat for Australia in what looks like to be the Gabba. Its good that a simple blue dog can show you what makes the sport I love so great and unique to others.

I really wish people would stop caring about if Americans understand things or not. I see it everywhere. When a NonAmerican TH-camr feels like they have to explain certain cultural things to Americans. If they're doing it to be nice, fine. But I see so many of them acting like it's a chore and something they're required to do and that just feels insulting. If you feel annoyed having to explain stuff to Americans, then don’t waste your breath. If we wanna know, we can just look it up ourselves. Sometimes it‘s okay to be alienated. Americans especially need to be alienated more. I really believe it'll give us a sense of humbleness and teach us that the world doesn’t and shouldn't revolve around us. I'm glad that this show is unapologetically Australian. As it should be, since it was originally meant for Australians. It having grown a world wide fan base was just a bonus. Part of the joy I get from watching it is feeling alienated and how I can learn about a culture just by observing and not being spoon fed information. For any NonAmericans reading this, if you're annoyed by having to explain things to Americans, then don't. If you're fine with it, then go ahead. No one has to do anything they don't wanna do. Just stop feeling like you have to baby us. Stepping away from the topic, this is still a good video. Well done. :)

But their r 2 professional Rugby Codes in Oz-Aust!! When u refer to Rugby,it refers to Rugby Union,but the more popular Rugby Code in Oz-Aust is Rugby League 🏉,which is what is show in the clip. 9 teams seperated themselves in 1908 from Rugby Union & created their own League w/ diff rules,hence the name Rugby League 🏉!! I live in Australia, but I do not support the Australia cricket team, but I can safely say that this episode of Bluey, an Australian based kids television show about dogs, does more marketing than all the cricket boards combinned could have done, as it reaches a group of young individuals worldwide, who never would have been exposed to cricket and introduces them to the sport in an easy to understand way. This episode is a game changer in my opinion. Especially as kids shows are on repeat for years after being originally aired. This reminds me of the scene in Troy, where Patroclus is killed because they think he is Achillies, only to find out its Patroculus and after which Agamemnon says "that boy may have just saved us the war". Don't get me wrong, there is no war going on in cricket and cricket does not need saving by any means, but in terms of crickets breadth, to date its popularity has been mainly confined to former British colonies only. However with this episode and the popularity of Bluey worldwide, I expect that to change and only time will tell, but I anticipate this episode will be the defining point in the increase in crickets popularity in the years to come.

yep to unpack the last scene as he is walking off you see him walking on, wearing the whites of the australian test team with the green helmet, not an opening batsman as he is walking on solo so probably number 3. meaning all his hard work paid off and he got to represent his country at the highest level of the sport. no aussie could watch that final scene with a dry eye as we know what it means to be given the baggy green cap to play for autralia.

About the 'Chilli Set Up Rad and Frisky' theory: in a fanfic I'm writing, Bluey and Bingo help Chilli plan Rad and Frisky's wedding after the kids help Rad propose, and when they do, Chilli tries to make it 'The Bestest Wedding In the World!' (Bingo's words, not mine), and they do it quite successfully. Inviting their family and most of their friends, and transforming the backyard into a beautiful wedding chapel complete with food, a massive cake, an ice sculpture, and even a BISHOP to marry the two. That's not even mentioning a rendition of 'My Heart Will Go On' on the organ. But, Bandit does end up getting his head in the punch bowl, similar to how Rad fell into the pool at Bandit's wedding

I think Pat might have a thing for Chilli, but not enough to ruin his marriage over it. Just look at Magic Asparagus, when Chilli was gnawing on his leg and he didn't seem to mind that much.
