Hello, I’m doing an LS one conversion into a VL with a 4L 60 transmission just wanting to know if tunnel modifications are required to fit the 4L 60

Where did u go for the engine mounts because im just about to put a 5.7 in a old 5L vt commodore ss

Wish a ls1 was 1.8k and a t56 was 1.5k still, 4k for a stock ls1, 3-4k for a t56 now 😢

And you would have done a camshaft and spring upgrade before you put the motor in instead of having to pull the motor again in 6 months when you realize you should have cammed it in the first place.

Hey mate, finally a good video explaining the way to go when doing this conversion! Just got a question when it comes to the camber, are you able to get the wheel dead straight? Or the wheel is fairly noticeably angled?

Does this shifter sit further forward than the original Commodore shifter?

New pads are cheap compared to accident damage change your pads at every meeting then assess the the pads that came out if below 5mm of material left bin them if more than that keep as test day pads or emergency replacement for the track

Hopefully the wheel alignment is fine and she feels good again at the track mate 👍 great stuff. Very rewarding when you can do it yourself!

Hey, did the factory t56 shifter fit straight through the factory hole in the floor or did you have to buy a different shifter for it or modify the floor? Cool build though!

Sad to see but that is all part of racing and pushing the limits. You should be proud of what you've built and having a real go at it, it ain't easy but it is fantastic to watch.

Hi my VL is factory 304, I'm looking at LS1 swapping I noticed you mentioned I'd need a K frame from VN-VS.. can I not retain the original k frame ?

needs a spoiler for more downforce ;)

Did you guys rebuild the LS1 or had someone do it. Also how much did it cost to rebuild if you paid someone todo it?

How does the Astra electric steering work? Does it retain the VS steering rack but replace the hydraulics with electric motors?
