It's sad that you have to hunt Pen Birds in the Sandhills. 60k acres of Game Lands with wild birds right up the road. But you can't find them with those Pen Bird dogs.
One of the best outdoor television series ever done. I have had the privilege to hunt with both these sportsmen, and they are as great in real life as they are on the series.
It's a miracle that we don't see more dogs get shot. Does anybody train the steady to wing and shot anymore.
