Rods- YES ! Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with monetizing your platform, or using it as a gateway to purchase products. Especially since you are upfront about it, and don’t try to back door it or sneak it in ( i.e. “Oh, by the way… ) as many do. As with any channel, and as you said, if anyone no longer likes the content, they can simply move on. However, “simply moving on” is a rarity on the internet lol.

Rods - Yes, Reels - Yes. Any time I walk into a sporting goods store now, I go straight to the clearance section first.

What upsets me with your, "Family Budget Fisherman" for $49.99 eBook, it provides zero content or links to dealers, wholesalers, over stock etc. to purchase fishing equipment etc. You're promising years of proven strategies and knowledge but you do not share one link to where to purchase these premium fishing rods, reels, baits etc. A short 3-page eBook with very basic budget/saving tips for $49.99 is not helping "Fishing Family on a Budget". In other words, you need to put some MEAT and POTATOES in your eBook vs. serving wilted lettuce. I am sure you may delete this comment or mention my comment in your video, but this is a FAIR comment! I have supported your channel since you arrived on TH-cam and watch your videos etc.

I think it's a waste of money. I've seen tournament guys with $80 gear smoke guys who spent $3k on fancy stuff. It's all about the angler's skill, not the gear. Some of these guys are so knowledgeable-they know fish habits, locations, topographical maps, how to read water temperature, and use panoptic. Being a good fisherman is less about the rod and reel and more about the knowledge you bring to the water.

you sound like a real down to earth dude I must say. in today's time people seem to be about them thanks for help stay you keep pushing out good content the thing is I'm not sure it's for the low end fishing person. 400.00 is a lot money to me. i have the love of fishing even if I'm not high end just love to talk fishing.

Last week, I bought the 3000 model, and as a former Stradic CI4 user, the reel feels a bit bulky to me. It seems to struggle under load, and the nob is unnecessarily long. The Stradic weighs 190 grams, and the Vanford weighs 180, but the Vanford feels heavier to me. I guess the weight balance is different. Do you think this could be related to the rod I'm using?

My previous GMO (boss) would use his Cabelas/basspro credit card on all purchases made for the company we worked for,as many of you know they give you reward points and just so you understand the amount of points he was getting I’ll tell you the electric bill price, the monthly bill for the construction plant is $10,000 us dls and that’s just one bill we also need lumber which was way more expensive than the electric bill. At the end of the year he was loaded with points…. I honestly don’t think this is ethical. But that’s just me There’s loopholes that many of us don’t know about,people very wealthy use like not paying taxes or stuff we haven’t heard about. I am a shimano fan but only own whatever I can afford with hard work. I am currently unemployed so spending on a hobby is out of the question for me. I lost my 26 yr job to this GMO he believed in hiring college graduates who at the end of their training didn’t end up staying with the company because they were expecting more $ but they got experience from it 😂

I’m thinking about getting one, I have an inflatable little dinghy but it’s not very easy to setup and carry due to having heavy wooden floorboards

I received my soare xr s80ul+ rod a few weeks ago and it is by far the best purchase I've made. I payed about £300 because of UK vat and shipping but I don't regret it at all. I combo it with the soare xr c2500s reel and the entire combo weighs about 250g or 8.8 oz. Its my first step into higher end rod and reel combos and il definitely be buying more in the future :D

Stumbled upon your channel and I am glad I did. I got a poison adrena 611MH after watching your comparison video between the Poison Adrena, Expride and Zodias. What is your take on pairing the Poison Adrena with the more expensive reels such as the Twin power or the Stellas? Is it worth the money or the Vanford will be sufficient? Thanks.

When you can get me a deal on a High End Fishing Reel then we can talk ... I bet you can make a deal to buy your eBook. You are a eBook Infomercial ... You are playing on people who want high end fishing equipment to believe they can get it cheaper ... If my reel cost 500 Dollars and I only have 400 ... I know I cannot buy that reel until I get another 100 Dollars. Why don't you really teach someone about equipment ... This reel cost 500 dollars but this reel cost 100 dollars and does the same exact thing ... I can show you how to save a lot of money ...
