@@JayFergusonTV first 8-10 games on the bench and get 20-25 mins per game getting use to the pace, then he will start once he’s use to the speed and how the team plays. Olise dynamic young player who can occupy 3 positions across the attacking third, more importantly Saka needs some competition. DM Youssouf Fofana robust and will gives us that steal which will enable Rice to continue playing as a left 8 higher up.

We have to buy big players in certain positions, especially when there's been many trials with young untested players which hasn't worked out. A midfield trio of Rice Musiala and Odg 😍. A dream? Yes but it's not unachievable.

@@JayFergusonTV of course those are margins but that is every league right? Plus, 3 points shouldnt have been taken away from us against newcastle, and potentially aston villa twice. We shouldve gotten penalties in both games, the second being before any of their goals, and that certainly wouldve changed a lot.

Sure .. in theory! But there is no way you can play ødegaard and jesus in midfield at the same time. Maybe jesus can play in martins spot to give him a rest. I think id like to see jesus play more in the wide forward positions, imo he is a better footballer then martinelli and trossard.. maybe even better then saka going forward, not defensively though.

Unpopular opinion but I think Gabriel Jesus is not at the level of Arsenal and City. Talented player but maybe the level is too much. I can see him thriving under less scrutiny less pressure . For example a Dortmund

I hear you. They are different profile players but the fact that Rice and do the 6 and 8 is super impressive and that’s the reason overall I would take rice instead of Rodri for the versatility and athleticism. Assist even from corners is crucial nothing to sniff at!

@@JayFergusonTV Agreed. He can definitely do either job really well. Saying that, I think Rodri can as well. He has sort of deputised for the loss of Gundogan when it comes to goal contributions this season and has shown a far more attacking threat than he had needed too in previous seasons. As far as athleticism goes Rice definitely has a bit more pace behind him. They’ve both got great engines. Agreed, it’s just with you mentioning the assists in open play on the content 👍🏽

@@JayFergusonTV Those were his issue at Man City. Could well be the kind of people he hangs around with was part of the problem. Playing in the UK means that he gets to be around those "friends" far more often than he does when he's playing abroad.
