I will show how i put a T splice on the wires. I will show the functionality of the lights and how nice they are. New engine break-in with first oil change at 500-1000 miles is a wise thing. I did my daughters 2024 Toyota Corolla SE first oil change at 1,000 miles and at the bottom of the oil catch pan after emptying was a bunch of tiny metal flakes/pieces from the new engine breaking in. I’m a big proponent of changing the first oil on a new car @ 1000 miles or sooner. The 24 month free Toyotacare only allows the first oil change to be done at a 1 year interval… Insane! And OW-8 F/S motor oil is a watery oil.

The dealership would never do this for you. They will tell you it's ok to follow the car's recommended oil interval.. My car's oil change intervals are 15k miles.. if I followed that this engine would have been done by now. I did my first at 500 and then at 1500 during the break-in process after that 5k.. I'm in my 18th oil change.. The only thing that sucks is I don't have a service history from the dealer but you know what I really don't care about that. I knew I was going to hold on to this car when I got it back in 2013... Runs just as it did when it was new. No oil leaks. Zero problems

Im not so sure whats wrong with mine, but for some reason if I were to look at the drivers side light head on at a certain angle closer to the right it would cause a really bright spot. But if I move to the left the bright spot is gone. Im worried that I might be blinding other people from incoming traffic to my left while driving. Would I need to rotate the light 180° so the bright spot would be more in the middle?

So I’ve just installed this style headlight into a buddy’s miata. I’ve run into an issue and I’d like to ask if you did also and may know how to repair this. The issue is with the passenger side halo, when we use the blinker for that side only half of the whole halo works as a amber blinker. The drivers side is the full amber blinker. Additionally on the passengers side, the side with the issue, the DRL works for the full halo which is what confuses me to why the amber portion is only half. Any ideas would be appreciated. this video is great although I would highly suggest using solder butt-connectors, all wiring work I do at my job we use either normal butt-connectors or solder butt-connectors, its more reliable than a normal solder because as long as your crimp them tight theres NO chance of the connection breaking you will need heat shrink or electrical tape heat shrink being the best bet, but the solder connectors just use a heat gun to shrink the wrap and melt the solder so your connection is water tight and solders perfectly.
