Hello!
I'm an amateur golfer who fell in love with the game. I remember going to the golf range with my family as early as elementary school. I started playing on the field with my dad when I entered college but didn't start playing seriously until 2020. I want to use this platform to document the process of getting better while having fun.
Thanks for stopping by!

You got that chicken wing swing. You can really see on tee shot hole 11. But keep it up.
Punched greens. Brutal
Love this video! Relatable to how I play 🙌🙌🙌
Bro, you always stand in middle of road with clubs?
Nice video and wanted to check this course out but decided to go somewhere else so it was good to play vicariously through you :) Also, we went to middle school together I believe ahah
Woah! I’m assuming Jason from Nobel? We had woodworking in 7th grade right? Hahaha How have you been?
I may be wrong but I think you need longer clubs. You're pretty tall.
I live in the area too and played this course several times in the past. Lost many balls in that monster ridge that cuts through the front 9 haha.
take your mask off
Nice video. Enjoy the lack of dialogue. Was there a bad sewage smell there?
Thank you. The Butterfield Ranch track always smells like that haha The Chino Creek course doesn’t smell as much
How long had you been playing at this point? your game in this video looks almost exactly like mine does now. I am about 7-8 months in. I think good advice for both of us would be to work on swing tempo, don't need to "blast" at the ball every hit.
At the time of posting this video, it was almost a year since I started playing! Didn’t realize it’s been a year since this video was posted. I should post a new course vlog! Definitely a different swing and game than last year. And yes, you’re right… tempo is key
Thanks for this
Excellent!!! Please share more courses in OC !!!
do your club heads have different serial numbers too? i bought a brand new set of these and they all have different serial numbers.. wondering if they are counterfeit
Dude i love your course vlogs! What gear are you filming with? just your iphone?
Thank you! Yeah just filming with my iPhone! I used to carry around my mirrorless camera but it was too heavy and a hassle to play with haha
your wedges look really short for you. , you should get a shaft fitting , great video!
These are actually an inch over like my fitted irons. I just stood too far away with my chipping setup at that time so they look too short haha Thanks for comment and suggestion!
Did a twilight round here back in May, only made it through 6, thanks for uploading the rest!
Thank you for watching!
Did you end up with new irons from your p7mb/mc mix? If so why did you switch?
I switched to a Mizuno MP20/Mp20 HMB combo set. I love the feel of the Mizunos much better and the HMBs in my long irons are much more forgiving than the Taylormade MCs
Just wondering what kind of radar or camera are you using with the direction of line on it? Or you add it after?
I film with my iPhone. I added the lines with an app called shot tracer on my macbook. It's not free anymore so I don't have it anymore.
LOL wait I went to high school with you
Hahaha what’s your name brotha?
Which shot tracing app are you using? Thats slick.
Thanks! I use the shot tracer app on my MacBook!
@@mcgolf1123 ??? Is that a feature in iMovie?
@@waynerodriguez8062 it's an app in the appstore called Shot Tracer!
Thanks again. I’ve used on my phone via handheld and it’s been terrible. Im guessing you use a tripod? Nice work.
Yeah I take my tripod to the course! Thank you!
Awesome chipping!!
Thank you!
Definitely like the commentary better but solid videos! Love the format
Thank you for the kind words and feedback! Gotta bring the commentary back!
I want this guy in my team
We’d demolish
Nice! Your chipping game is ridiculously good
Thank you! Finally figured out what works for me!
I swear as a junior golfer going through puberty rn I'm extremely jealous. I can't exactly get fitted right now because of how much my height is fluctuating. Just 6 months ago I was abt 3 inches shorter. It has thrown my swing off in more ways than I can count. GL with your irons and I hope you have fun!
I’m jealous of your youth! Hahaha enjoy it. I can’t believe how quickly life is going haha. I understand that because I grew a lot in high school and couldn’t adjust to my height while being super skinny when I played baseball. It’s a tough process but you can do it! Good luck on your journey.
Good stuff, subscribed! Looking forward to seeing more videos and your progress
Thank you very much!
TaylorMade 🤙🏾😎
Love that course I like playing there
Definitely a fun little course!
Curious to know what your handicap is as an amateur. Really want to get the MCs but lots of people say just get more forgiving clubs. Personally, I have tried a game improvement iron and a blade but I like the feel of the blade more. I just know what I'm doing wrong with it as opposed to a game improvement iron where it'll fly whether or not i hit it good or not.
Hey! I don’t know my exact handicap, but I average around the mid 80’s to low 90’s depending on the day. I actually switched clubs and went with Mizuno HMBs for my 4-6 irons for more distance and forgiveness. However, I’d suggest for you to go with whatever you feel most confident with and with whatever club you want to hit the most! It sucks going with clubs your friends recommend and hating it.
@@mcgolf1123 That’s really interesting! I thought about going for the HMBs as well given how people hold it in such high regard. Just had to ask because as someone with a relatively high handicap, most people would tell me to look for forgiveness but the feel of the club just isn’t there upon impact. Appreciate the response and looking forward to more of your content!
Yeah! In the end, it’s up to you! Get what you want. Let me know what you end up going with. Thank you for watching!
Can you tell me if they fitted you at 3.5 degrees for all the irons?
Yes they did! However, I was recently fifties for 2 degrees upright so I’m returning these irons and waiting for my new set to come in.
@@mcgolf1123 when you say the fitting wAs free was it because you purchased the clubs w PGA Superstore? Lastly, are you getting the same irons or did you switch?
I purchased my clubs at Roger Dunn because their 3 month exchange policy is unbeatable. PGA superstore gives fittings for free! Not as detailed as paid fittings but definitely worth it. I’m getting different irons! I’ll do a video on why I switched when they come in.
@@mcgolf1123 what a blessing your video has been for me personally because I now know key facts I’ve been trying to research but can get answers from most bloggers. In stating that you were fitted you gave us your height, 1” over, and 3.5 degrees on all you irons is monumental. Most bloggers say “I’ve been fitted and only give you the shaft specs of weight and stiffness but not the necessary information an amateur might benefit from. Especially when also we don’t and can’t fork out money like others can. Thank you thank you! Just subscribed to your channel.
@@TheHenry07 Thank you for the kind words! I still highly recommend on everyone getting fitted. Yes, the 1" over and lie angle were fitted to my height, but they were also fitted to my swing. Thanks for subscribing and hope I can be of more help in the future!
Really liking the videos (looking at P7-MCs myself) but when he says I’ve already hit 2 drives and the 3rd one is the one he uses and then goes right onto my 2nd shot (went don’t count those right) I hope that’s a joke because you absolutely do count the ones you miss hit haha. Lots of Americans I’ve noticed do this.
Going to PGA superstore tomorrow. Just curious did you try different shaft? Looks like you use KBS Tour 120S?
Hey! I actually didn’t get to try different shafts until a month after I received these. Yes, these are the KBS Tour 120S! But I realized I like the Dynamic Gold Tour S300s. You should def try different shafts out if possible!
dude you were STRIPING EVERYTHING SO PURE, I have the mc's and I love them
Thank you sir! The MCs feel really good don’t they?
I remember getting those trips when they first came out - in white and black. And now I feel like I see them everywhere.
Did you notice any difference with your new irons ?
Yes most definitely. They feel very nice and give a lot of confidence. I also realized that I struggle more with the longer irons and need a bit more consistency with longer distances.
why are you playing golf with a mask on
I always forget to take it off hahaha
Nice video. What did you use to edit the video? Final Cut Pro or Adobe?
Thank you! I use Davinci Resolve Studio.
Let's see where those balls go when you on the course lol... Golf is not that easy where the fitting will produce, fairways and greens, and low scores...
Hitting at the field is much harder no matter what clubs you use. Mental game, course management, etc. are all another ballgame. Love the game though.
@@mcgolf1123 You got that right I use Ram clubs and 2007 driver and have tired and been fitted many times.. I seem to always just go back to the clubs I have practice with my whole life and I know where the ball is going consistent distance and misses is the key. I will say this, the only other clubs to come close to consistency far as distance was the Callaway 2017 epic star irons, IRONS ONLY the driver, 3 woos, 5 wood trash. Those irons I could hit to a certain distance and it was spot on it was insane with those clubs. I would use the 5 iron on par 5ss lol tee off and second shot lay-up or if close go for the green. I had 5 iron to sand wedge. However my clubs were stolen and you know how much those clubs were, I never had enough money to get another set...
Just got my MCs and love them. Was also fitted 2deg flat. For amateurs fitted with the right shaft and grip is key and would recommend it to anyone
They feel pure right? I think getting fitted should be the first step for anybody wanting to get serious and consistent. Hope you enjoy them and please subscribe!
I miss the commentary
Sick
thank you sick one
Nobody: Richard: "Wow that's a great putt" after hitting driver.
😂 I think he said "wow that's a great cut" hahaha
can i get free golf lessons?
I’m not good enough to give lessons 😂
