where you said u have to somehow get the fold to stay till you sew it ..I run a thin line of washable school glue down the fold and then press it with my fingers as i go and it stays till I sew u can iron it to it help it to glue faster
Thank you. I was looking for something like this. This will be very helpful. Don't know why there are so few people who even think to do this. Most are so focused on making the squares in an easy way, but then don't focus on simple ways of putting them together!
I really liked you method of joining the quilt blocks for the quilt as you go blocks I am just confused on how to join the second row to the first row? Can you help me with that?
Create a playlist for yourself and give it a name that will help you. You don't have to make it public, you can keep it private for just your own use. That's what I've done. Otherwise I lose them in the history and TH-cam doesn't let me see my entire history anymore.
RE YOU LEAVING APPROX. AN INCH AT THE TOP AND AT THE BOTTOM TO CONNECT WITH THE NEXT BLOCKS? I REALLY LIKE THIS IDEA. GOING TO TRY THIS. i HAVE ARTHRITIS SO IT'S HARD FOR ME TO HAND STITCH. i LOVE THE BLANKET STITCH.
Hello Alisha. I’m a brand new subscriber and just began using this excellent tutorial. I do have a question though. I now have the 2nd block pinned to the front of the first block, aligned to the edge of the 1” strip. So I now turn it over and stitch in the seam allowance? I’m sorry to be so dense. I’m one of those spatially challenged people. Thanks so much.
I would love to see you do more videos!
Great video. To the point so I didn’t get bored and frustrated. Helped me out a lot. Thank you👏🧵🪡
Thanks.
Best video on topiic❤
Great video. I need to see you do all the rows and border/binders.

Get out! Super video. I was wondering how this could be done. Thanks!

A million thank you’s … just learning to QAYG and you have the best sashing applications!!!! And blanket stitch… “who knew” lol lol😊❤
If you increased the size of your front binding and folded it then you would have the fold allready there...

I love how you had prepped each step ahead of time!
Thank you for this video
Lovely blocks.
I ua N 1/8" DBL sided tape to lay along the stitch like that way there is nothing shoqing
Good information and technique. You need to work a little on the videotaping .... too much movement and not always focused on what was being shown.
What machine did you use to quilt your blocks before you joined them together
Thank You Very Much.
More videos please! You have a way of explaining that makes things simple.
Wish I’d found this video sooner. It’s very informative and helpful. Please make more videos.😊
The laughs in the background…oh so sweet.
Use fabric glue on the front to hold down that tricky strip.

Hi hun. Try not to use all caps when your type. It makes it look like everything is being said very loudly and emphatically.
Use Wondertape by Dritz (washaway)for the fold over part-you will love it
I really want to do another quilt as you go quilt. I did one and my granddaughter loves it and she sleeps with it when she spends the night.
I never thought that this could be sooooo beautifulll. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you. Very helpful. My next quilting project will be a quilt-as-you-go.
Clear and beautiful
Thank you 😊💞
