I just took the dive and ordered the grille and bow tie from eBay. Then I got the HD hood and moldings from Amazon. I have been wanting to do this for years now. No way could I have done it without PayPal credit and Amazon Prime credit card. My 2005 truck is white, so maybe the dark primered hood won’t look so strange until it gets painted. My current original hood is full of hail dents. That is another reason I wanted to replace it with the HD and do the grille conversion. Plus, it makes the truck look two years newer to me. Your video is an awesome help in learning how to do the job. And a visual influence to me to get mine done. Thanks!

I had the same set of 20s only the grey colored version. The wheels I liked but I didn't like how my truck rode with big wheels. I switched to 16s with 295s and 265s staggered front and back. Truck is lookin good man. Stay Grindin 😎

I have a base model 04’ cat eye and am going to do the HD grill, I’m understanding I have to get the HD hood to make it look right but I’d have to change out the bumper as well? Or is your trucks a base model too, it looks clean.

Thank You! You found the correct screw to remove key cylinder. I undid every thing else, but missed that screw. It was so covered and camouflaged. I was one step from driving it out. I am in the Caribbean SXM. Have the truck here since 1886. Parts are only with Napa Ordering. Bearing has let its balls go like in bits. Had no idea. Driving here is the same as off road beatings. Thanks for the can of worms I just opened

Where is the scoop/intake? You only put an airfilter on it, its not a ram air intake. Besides, its taking in hot air now this way making the engine perform less, the factory one takes cold are from the front at least...
