Want to learn how to make delicious and healthy vegan lentil chips? In this video, I'll show you my easy recipe for crispy lentil chips that are perfect for snacking.
Ingredients:
● Red Lentils: 400 grams (approximately 14 ounces)
● Water (for soaking)
● Spices: Salt, Pepper, Chili pepper, Garlic powder, Oregano
● Cooking Oil (a small amount for the pan)
Cooking Tips:
● Soaking Lentils: Soaking the red lentils for 12 hours helps to soften them and makes blending easier.
● Blending Lentils: Blend the soaked lentils until they reach a creamy, smooth consistency. This will ensure the chips have a good texture.
● Spice Blend: The recipe suggests using salt, pepper, chili pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Feel free to adjust the quantities to your taste or add other spices you enjoy.
● Cooking the Pancakes: Heat a pan with a little cooking oil and pour the lentil batter to form thin pancakes. Cook until they are golden brown and easily flippable.
● Slicing and Baking: Once the pancakes are cooked, slice them into desired shapes, such as squares or triangles. Bake them in the oven at 150 degrees Celsius (302 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes to achieve a crispy texture.
● Cooling and Enjoying: Let the chips cool completely before serving. This will allow them to crisp up even more.

I fucked your recipe up (oil too hot, burnt the outside, raw inside, had to finish them in the oven) but they still came out absolutely delicious. Highly recommend giving this a try to anyone. I liked the large tender looking things you made a lot so i basically made large meatballs, that was my downfall! Definitely recommend starting with some smaller pieces first if youre a beginner like me, i threw all my balls in at once and completely scorched one side super fast. Thin strips like you did here is definitely the wave, because the insides of mine were completely raw because i couldnt leave them in the oil long enough to fully cook without burning them! I threw them in the oven for 20 minutes at 375 and they came out beautifully. I added some paprika, and the normal seasoning i use for chickens and meats (big cock ranch good shit) along with the ingredients you listed. Highly recommend. This is a great recipe i will probably be using regularly, prep is so simple, and its awesome you easily could keep the raw form in the fridge for a few days to fry some up on demand. Ill be trying your other recipes as well, and looking forward to new ones! Thank you!
