Good video and some good fishing bru! I'm tempted to get one of those Xplorer starter combos and get back into fly fishing, haven't done it for years since moving back to Durban.

looks lekker. Give me a shout if you are ever in richards bay. We can fish the flats here for wave garrick and try our luck with bonefish.

Thanks for the compliments guys. As far as the regulations go, yes there are regulations, but to be honest with you I have only been stopped once about 4 years ago and asked to produce my fishing license. Other than that you can find regulations on the Sansa website if I am not mistaken.

Oh yes the reel was part of the starter pack, an Okuma composite reel that is almost emune to the salt water, not the fanciest reel but hasn't let me down ( I am yet to hook something on it that gives it a proper test). The line is an intermediate airflow line, leader is self tied, 35lb, 25lb, 15lb ending in 11lb fluorocarbon tippit.

I will be posting a video in the near future, of the green mamba, a how to tie and I'll show the retrieve etc. The rod I'm using is an old Stealth 9 weight, I think it was the starter range of rods, I got it when I first moved to the salt. So yeah there are fish to be caught out there, I look forward to seeing you guys on the water. Cheers.
