    Yep. Remember, HR is there to Reduce Risk for the company. They are there to help the company mitigate issues and avoid lawsuits. They are not on your side. If you have a REAL problem at working, you need to collect evidence and be able to provide the receipts. You can use HR to help mitigate some issues, but you need to protect YOURSELF.

    Harlee Newman, the best dad ever, his story amazes me every time I hear it. This man is my Super Hero, he came from nothing and made himself successful, regardless of others' perception of him. My father is my motivation! He has always told me "never say you can't"! EVER!, growing up I had a very bumpy life, Gang Banging, using drugs, drinking, fighting, I was mad at the world just like my father was. But I was lucky, when I was finally committed to Juvenile lock up, he was there for me, he told me "it's never to late to change your path", and again NEVER SAY YOU CANT"! Alot happened in my life as well as my dad's, but no matter what, when I called or reached out he has always been there. I made mistakes, I got distant from him as well as the rest of my family and continued to screw up. But I always remembered what he would tell me, "nothing is given to you, you must get it yourself, work hard for it, go to school, take care of your family, and be HAPPY! Don't think of your past, but change your future, you are destined for great things, only if that is what YOU, want!" I had my first son at 15, and had three more before I hit 25, I was still a mess, but when I seen my Father become successful, climb out of the hell he went through, and married an amazing woman, and had children with her, it showed me that, if my Dad can do it I can! I am now an Independent Sales Rep for Vector Marketing, working on Becoming Branch Manager, as well as getting started on my side career doing what I love, being a Recovery Coach for people that struggle with addiction and are just beginning Recovery. I am also a student at South New Hampshire University, majoring in Psychology/Drug and Alcohol addiction specialist. I struggled quite a bit as an adult having 4 kids, and a wife, but Harlee..my dad was always in my head and always a call away, showing me how to be the man I was meant to be. I'm sorry for the long message lol, It's just that Harlee's life and the person he is made me who I am! He is an amazing man, an amazing dad, and an amazing husband. And from what he has shown me, I can use this to make my life better and be successful, as well as keep my 4 sons on the right path! I love you dad, you are incredible, never forget that you have made a huge impact on my life and everyone around you for the better! So I truly wanted to say THANK YOU! For being you and showing me the way to become a great man, father, and husband!!. You are my superhero. POPS!

    Its 50/50. Officers arent regularly trained to be able to speak to people clearly and be able communicate effectively. The other half is they dont understand the very laws theyre trying to uphold. Part of that is the law isnt worded for a regular person to understand but most officers are just regular people, they dont go to law school to learn about the laws they are sworn to uphold. Theyre simply confused by the wording and then train others on the same personal understanding they were given which leads to lawsuits because they are ignorant of the law.

    When a citizen ask why- never say because I said so! Unless it's REALLY a police safety issue STOP telling people to sit on the ground. STOP lying to citizens. Respect citizens 1st, 4th and 5th Amendments. Stop policing for profit. Eliminate insensitive programs that encourage officers to violate people's rights. Talk to me how you want to be talked to

  • @dpen795
    @dpen795 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Let's start by requiring officers to live in the cities that they work in. 2ndly good cops need to stop bad cops . 3rd stop unnecessary fishing- don't ask entrapment questions. 4th treat people how you watch be treated. We appreciate you taking some responsibility.
