I think they came at a time when a lot of DIY Indie rock bands were blowing up so they were just in the mix with everyone else. I really thought when they got Johnny Marr they would’ve catapulted to another level so I dunno
I think they could have have, but they stuck with the indies cause they just didn't fit with the big record labels.

Yeah, haven't heard many of their live sets but the guitarist isn't very tight with it here in my opinion. The drummer is the best live player from what I've seen here...
