I will love all those things, but a cat/dog/animals are not a prescription or anything else. If you get one and you give them the time they need, they will be your best friend. I don't know how big my Maine Coon kitten will get, but I just love her the way she is. Her parents weren't the biggest, but they were certainly bigger than a normal cat. Mine also has a pedigree and beautiful parents and half-brother. Fun fact: her half-brother looks so much like her and he was very handsome and cuddly, the father was not a big fan of strangers. People say male Mainecoons will be friends and cuddly with strangers, but that's not true, every Mainecoon is different, and the mother was hiding, they said we probably wouldn't find her, but I've seen the pedigrees of both parents.

Great info. Personally, I think MC kittens are much worse (or better, depending on your out look) than other kittens. Lizzie May is still wild and crazy. She will be 20 months on the 25th of this month. She has been a joy. I think I've done a pretty good job raising her. She's never been a biter but will gently mouth you. She doesn't play with her claws unless she is really, really excited. Even then she immediately pulls them in if I say ouch or claws. Have to tell you a funny story. I've taught her to get off the counter if I point at the floor and say, "Lizzy May, down". She gets down about 95% of the time. Well, one day, we did that, and she very quickly laid down on the counter. I told her " wrong down." And I didn't teach you that one." I cracked up. Have a great day. A video with grooming tips would be helpful. Lizzie May is pretty good about letting me brush her. I'm just not sure if I'm doing it right. Thanks. Hope ya'll are OK after Milton. Hi Tracy! I just subscribed and watched your video of the scammers! I'm so sorry this happened to you! Crazy! There are so many horrible, dishonest people out there today! JoJo (aka Dio) is doing great, and is probably around 30 lbs. He is the sweetest boy, and has become very bonded with me finally. He was a little aloof for a long time, but one day he just "gave in"! Lol!

Thanks for letting folks know about this. Wish I lived closer. I appreciate what you do for the Maine Coon breed. It's really a shame all these scams are happening and how they are affecting reputable Maine Coon breeders such as yourself. When we were looking closer to home (MO) for a kitten, I felt much more protected because of your videos. We ended up with a beautiful silver/black runt. She's not such a runt anymore. She's about 14 lbs at 18 mos. She was barely 4 lbs when we got her at 15 wks. I look at her now, and it's hard to believe how little she was. We love her so much. Will admit that she is just a little spoiled - maybe a lot. She's so smart. Anyway, I want to thank you for making me more aware of scammers and their methods. Hope all is well with you.

Nice kitten. Love the coloring. My fairly new Coonie kitten is almost 14 months now. She was the runt - 4 lbs at 15 weeks. At one year she was 12.5 lbs, very long and pretty tall. Not sure what she weighs now. Does that sound like she is growing well as far as weight goes? She and the 2 ragdolls rampage around the house having fun. Sound kinda like a herd of elephants. So fun.
