No transferrable skills at all. No aim requirement, positioning is streamlined on mercy, heal target priority is streamlined, no cooldown management required and ult is incredibly simple.

@@K1RB33 ngl i was making this argument back when weaver wasnt in the game, he’s similar to mercy in the way of surviving engagements through movement and his heals per second are similar to where u get into similar triage-y situations (deciding who to heal and who to give up on/pray for). He’s similar but i dont think u can kiri without aiming or thing about ult economy and positioning matters a lot more on kiri because ur going to either have use important cds instead of dying there are downsides to using your cooldowns unlike mercy. Mercy weaver are similar skillsets and honestly you could strench to put brig in a similar boat but mercy is by far the character in ow with the least useful transferable skillsets.

@@phanepacc5065 i love being targeted and still being able to not only survive, but also keep my teammates alive, dmg amp an ult, pull off a good rez, and take the blaster out to take care of low hp enemies. mercy is chill and easy to learn yeah, but depending on the skill of your enemies, she can be hard to pull off. still tho, she’s not for everyone, and that’s okay!

You literally reiterated his point. Low skill floor means she is easy to pick up and play. And while skill ceiling can be very high, there are other supports that can offer more at the same level. So… overrated. He’s not saying bad, he’s not saying unliked, just overrated.

Mercy is not keeping anyone alive in the middle of fights 💀 you can give them a bit of extra sustain but you are not bout to single handedly save someone from a fight

@@emerywoods624 mercy is just the concept of medic from tf2 but removed all of the complexity from his character. The most value a mercy can get is just not dying and pressing her one real cooldown.
