Students in Asian countries learn reading by sight, not by sound. American students were told by their teacher, read in your head. And from that moment on, subvocalization stuck as an adult. That’s why speed reading is laughable to Americans but not to them. He’s describing the same way they would learn it.

He is not a real fast reader, he is fake reader. I'm real fast reader.

I wish I could but it's nearly $500 for the reading program. That's impossible for me at this point.

So your theory Mr. Berg makes a lot of sense as it is much easier to conceive of a thing after already seeing it. And your theory helps us understand why people remember direcrions better based on landmarks and events rather than by pure information. And so we must be able to orient ourselves by connecting these concepts to things we already know.

Very, very, interesting...this means then that when tracing the etymology of words it's not surprising why certain concepts seem "odd". In reality the concepts are actually clear, its that our conceptual knowledge is limited.

Man if legislation uses up 2,500 pages to handle issues, that is a complete waste of time and money. It would've been better to tell a story to explain the point instead of trying to micromanage the entire process.

Photography memory trust the process of your brain kung meron ka nyan gifted ka dahil di agad agad mawawala sa utak mo kung ano ang nakita mo lahat tayo meron nyan for example lang po tumingin kayo sa isang bagay bahay kahit ilang segundo o minuto lang chaka kayo pumikit pag nakaukit parin sa isip mo ang bagay/bahay na nakita mo yan ang tinatawag na memory picture😊

I think speed reading is great and actually helps with comprehension more. We don’t get shocked when people go faster playing sports after all. So why do we at reading?

It takes a couple of minutes to photo read. Then, it takes a couple of hours to reorganize those papers back in sequence. 😂

I don't know here, seems like the "average joe" guy when it's his turn to talk, you notice he adds more detail compared to howard berg, who when he initially starts talking, explains everything in a super vague manner. Just seems like he was more or less tossing/flipping pages rather than reading, but I could be wrong here.
