Jimmy! Eeeeep! I loved this toon! Like the glorious Tick. It hit me perfectly in the wacky brain cell. Both so rare and short. Look into Space Goofs. Iggy Pop does the intro. And its as wacky as Ripping Friends. Rocket Monkeys is a gem too. And I must mention Spliced. Also a crazy animation style with heavy character development. Princess pony ape hands. Off the top of my head... - GW's "Warhammer is for everyone" corporate press release. - Most of the "mother of the primarchs" retcons. - Dark skinned people on planets like Fenris. - Rampant tokenism across various AoS lines. I'll breakdown that last one because I think it really highlights modern GW's thought processes. Look at the newer CoS line for AoS. Rather than play up the factions foundational lore as a patchwork of different peoples and cultures, GW opted for corporate safe tokenism. CoS could have been used to pay some respectful nods to Fantasy (difficult for AoS, I know) and explore some of the other cultures in that setting (ie Cathy, Ind, Araby, etc etc) in a fresh way, but instead, CoS was simply turned into medieval Germans (as opposed to the more Renaissance HRE of the Empire) with not so infrequent palette-swaps here and there.

Stopped watching a handful a years ago when I no longer recognized anyone on any of the podcasts is watched. I watched for the dynamic and jokes of the people I grew up watching. Micheal, gavin, Geoff, Burnie, gus and a few others. After 2020ish I never saw them on off topic and rarley on rt podcast. The jokes became very polished, clean and just not funny. It was sad to see the OG rt die, but that was years ago. This rt death is just a soleless company shutting down.

Brief Clarification: Races and Classes are two different things in character building. In DnD, class is the character's playstyle. Playing multiple classes is discouraged but allowed in base DnD. Races in DnD are the different fantasy species you can play as. Which makes the removal of Half-Elf and Half-Orc confusing. Interspecies characters are popular and can invoke great storytelling and world-building. It isn't "woke" to get rid of them unless they're delving so far into the barrel they came up to the other side that it is woke somehow. (If anything, remove the lore that makes it problematic. Wouldn't be the first time) Also, DnD has a very woke fanbase anyway. Or perhaps you would call it liberal? Idrc. If a tabletop roleplaying game didn't have a playerbase as fruity as the theatre kids, I'd be surprised.
