Dry ice cleaning will be good to remove old paints. Due to -80°C cold paint comes loose and perhaps one needs to add a bit of blasting grit to the dry ice to roughen up the the bath tubs before applying new coating. And our machines can do this too.

Hello Sam, the CRYONOMIC machines need 2.2 to 2.4 kg of liquid CO2 to make 1 kg of dry ice. Exact ration depends on machine, tank pressure, etc. If you want our engineers give you a better calculation, let us know the capacity you need and the tank & piping you (plan to) have. Rgds, Hypolite

Sure, we blast dry ice and a minimum quantity of abrasives and in a last pass one blasts only dry ice resulting in zero contaminant on the surface. Perfect for immediate painting.
