pigtronix cosmosis exploration
There are already good reviews of this pedal out there, I just wanted to show how easy it is to dial in a reverb with either a lot or a little movement.
I typically do longer videos on budget pedals other folks have yet to explore. While the Pigtronix Cosmosis isn't a budget pedals, I feel like it falls in a fair price point for the feature set. I grabbed one used for around $125 which I considered a bargain!
Really enjoying the tone of the Eddie Rifkind Klaren Basic which is on but unadjusted for the majority of this video! Again there are some really great videos demoing it's tonal capabilities, and I plan on using it in many demos if not giving it a solo video because my playing doesn't always show off what drives are capable of.
Questions, comments, requests are always appreciated and responded to!

Ginean Inverted Reflection Cabin Reverb: cool name, but what is it?
มุมมอง 2862 หลายเดือนก่อน
If you're new here, I have an addiction to guitar pedals. Sometimes, I see something pop up for sale with no reference point, no reviews, no mention of what it's based off of, nothing. If the price is right, I buy it. The Ginean Inverted Reflection Cabin Reverb has a cool name and I liked the artwork. So I bought it to test it out. It's definitely a reverb. It's not an ambient/long decay reverb...

    Big difference from the last review I seen for this. The other reviewer pointed out how the controls felt alarmingly cheap he had difficulty dialing in the cheap control knobs but once he found the sweet spot for each control he was able to dial in several desirable metal sounds. This is a clone of a clone of a Metal Big Muff PI, and I remember the original metal muff PI got bad reviews even amongst metal heads. but the prices is right i may just buy to use as a dummy pedal. @@nerdebynature Sure that's certainly very fine - I just wanted to comment that if the antennas are like in that "Theremin" you will have no chance to control the pitch somehow correctly - what I really love with the Theremini is the adjustable Pitch Correction so that the Theremini glides to the intended notes in the desired scale! Its pretty hard to play this instrument without it --- Have fun making music or noise anyway 🤪☮

    Which pedals are you using here?

    • @nerdebynature
      @nerdebynature 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The first pedal is a treble boost (basically just in the video for the color coordination 😅), The Ray Gun is a multi mode Phaser (can't remember which mode it was in on this demo), then the Suga Trem Tremolo, and the Effluence Reverb! The tremolo is set very slowww. All of these are made by Poison Noises! Let me know if you have any questions or want to hear sound samples of any of these, I can add it to the "schedule."

    I have one of these and your experiences with the escape mode mirror my own. The space knob has something to do with finding a usable sound, but I'm not sure why. Very nice sound at about 630. I will have to try that out. Retire mode is much more usable across all the controls. Do you find that the replicant clips easy? I have to lower my guitar volume a bit. Anyhow, good review and accurate!

      @@shermanchow4264 that is for watching! I plan on experimenting more with the replacant this week, I didn't test it with any dirt or distortion so I didn't notice clipping. I am glad that it has the retire mode to give me patience looking for the fun sounds in the escape mode.
