No one was quarantined because they had their mask on.. that is arbitrary garbage. Especially when actual science has shown extremely minimal benefits to universal continued masking.

“Exposed” with 0 symptoms and you stay home for 5 days, and then mask for 5 days.. insanity. When are we going to the common sense of staying home if your sick and living your life if your not.

I am totally disappointed.My kids are fully vaccinated and wearing mask daily.They got Covid from the school and the symptoms are not mild.Half of the staff in the school are sick and they still want to open school and try to cause spread of virus.

Mason has been a leading school district in keeping our kids safe from the very start of this pandemic. They are talking to doctors and studying data daily making decisions based on this information. Im thankful for the approach our leaders have taken. Well done Mason.

this school district is really disappointing me. you aren’t taking procautuons, mandating masks or doing remote. you won’t do anything that goes against what you want, even when it’s for what we need in this world right now.

Really confused also . If you cannot make it a mandate for rest of the school year , just At least make mask mandate until end of January or middle of February, until this peak time of spread is over!!

Little confused with the video. How is a mask mandate not helpful in reducing the spread? Highly recommend but can’t mandate…I guess we leave it up to the kids to make good choices…not the adults.

I’m sorry, but you’re saying the problem is people aren’t wearing masks, that they should…but the school won’t mandate it. I’m tired of Mason’s lack of direct leadership. You are failing. You know the answer, yet refuse to enforce all medical recommendations. This is what failing looks like. You can’t maintain staffing. You can barely keep classes available. You give the answer to the problem and stop short of solving it. I’ve written the Board and superintendent several times, kindly and with respect begging for reasonable precautions. The school is doing nothing now. No barriers, no spacing, no masks. If this goes badly, it is squarely on leadership.
