In popular media not just comics.. i dont have the numbers obv but the movie made them reach a wider audience.

this video isn't just about comics. And films have way more reach than any media (except maybe video games), so the live action stuff literally made them a global phenomenon

@The_EverythingYT You must be an MCU fan, live action comes from an original source material and when there wasn't any superheroe movies the x-men overstomp the avengers in sells since their debut and even right now they keep selling better comics than them, the MCU made the avengers popular but nowhere near as iconic as the x-men, even in live action the x-men got their first movies trilogy twelve years before the avengers had their first film and that is becouse they are far more iconic than the avengers, also the x-men animated series had bigger impact than any other avenger cartoon or tv show. Who's both more iconic and featured in the mainstream media and in comics Wolverine or Ironman? Storm or Black widow? The answer is the X-men character, before the MCU the avengers were mostly irrelevant and even the Fantastic four were a more important team than them, so X-men>>>Avengers.

I would argue that Hulk (member of Avengers) is way more popular than any X men member. And Infinity War/Endgame alone literally united the world. Think outside of the US and in the general Eye. I mean the theme park and the merchendise numbers speak for themselves. PS: M not saying the X men aren't iconic btw.

@@The_EverythingYT Saying that Hulk is way more iconic than all x-men characters is wrong, sorry but it is, Wolverine is WAY more iconic than him and sells better than him has more movies, etc, currently Hulk is not the most iconic Avenger, with luck Hulk is as iconic as Deadpool, just look on the internet for the most iconic Marvel characters, the first one is spiderman and the second one is Wolverine not Hulk nor any Avenger, you ask me to think outside the US but you have to think outside of the MCU dude, before the MCU who sold better merch? THE X-MEN, Who had their first live action saga? THE X-MEN Who has always sold better comics? THE X-MEN, sorry but it is true, the MCU just made the them popular, before the MCU they were irrelevant and once the x-men arrive the MCU the avengers will go back to being in the x-men shadow, i'm also not saying that the Avengers are bad but they are nowhere near as iconic or good as the x-men, James Cameron movies avatar also were a global phenomenon and made billions and united the world but that doesn't make those movies iconic.

-heroes for hire, daughters of the dragon and cloak and dagger are not teams, those are duos -you put Atlas twice (I guess for the two different versions) -he mentioned west coast, young and dark avengers since all of them fill the same role, but with different set of characters -Illuminati and Gamma agents, while interesting both of them are just too especific one offs -MI-13, SHIELD, and SWORD are not teams but agencies But I do agree, Midnight suns, Thunderbolts, New warriors, Champions, Excalibur, Winter guard, Alpha flight and Annihilators should be the second video
