Painful or painless? Hair Transplantation Today
I'll be seeing you in January. Looking forward to it, but super nervous.
Very helpful, thanks, doc!

I hope i can one day afford to get a hair transplant. Hopefully in 5 to 7 years time i can drive down to Minnesota and get the procedure.
Smitham Common
Is it 12 months of looking super weird?
The answer is no because you can always get another transplant. The reality is that the DHT will eventually thin out your transplant. Thats why people who dont get on finasteride get multiple transplants. You have to adress the underlying problem.
Take low-dose minoxidil. I take 1.25 mg. My dermatologist emphasized low doses for it to work. I had low expectations. Boy was I wrong. The combination of Minoxidil and Propecia is a winner. It works. Period.
What if I have very thick body body hair would that make a difference, I would be doing my 3rd procedure.
Minoxidil is the only reason why I could grow a beard
Sir, this is Wendy's.
finally a clear explanation!
Is it possible to sprout new hairs at 6 months and beyond ?
I had a 2500 graft FUE procedure 4 months ago, and it seems to be growing in as expected. I’m taking 2.5 milligrams of Minoxidil and .5 milligrams of Finisteride (I halved the dosage) The only noticeable side effect is my mood. I’ve heard that Finisteride can cause mood swings, and I’m wondering if there’s a topical spray that could be applied, so the Finisteride bypasses my center nervous system IE mood receptors/brain area that’s effected by Finisteride ?
I need to see the longer video to this
This rubbish ruins peoples lives. If people are getting hair transplants they need to plan ahead for more unless they already have substantial hair loss. Playing with hormones is not the answer. I know many young men who can even get hard any more since taking and coming off finasteride. It is the devils drug. DO NOT listen to these doctors. Plan ahead for 2 maybe 3 transplants or go bald gracefully
I understand your comment and my personal Urologist WARNED me about the sides as well as possible permanent sides from Fin. But that being said and known, it does appear those that suffer from the sexual sides are extremely low. With the above, my dermatologist has me on 5mg that I was told to and will 1/4 into 1.25mg and I may take them every other day... I will be aware 'if' any sides feel like they're creeping up. My dermatologist has not had any patients experiencing sides from Fin.
I’m on month 4, we can only really compare before and after, AFTER 12 MONTHS.. anyone telling you different is BS..
Thanks for the great info Tony Curtis!

I went to get my hairline done, it’s bald in the corners. My doctor to me my donor area was too thin tho, so I suggested he takes from my pubic region. He said it would work. It’s been 10 months and it did work except my hair is straight and in the corners it’s super curly with crabs. What should I do about this? My doctor won’t answer my calls anymore
Oh man is this for real 😧
I read in an article that once you get the surgery you may start losing more hair in the area you got surgery because your hair is shedding old dead hair for it’s new hair. Is that true? I’m in month 2 after surgery and I feel like I’m losing a lot of hair now and my thinning is very noticeable now.. much more than before
Are there any surgeons who help people who have been badly damaged by other doctors and who have run out of money?
Where are you located?Do you repair damage from other doctors?
Propecia is boner destroyer
The answer is yes
The instructions seem to be different for post op with every clinic I have noticed.
When hair cloning is available, Doctor ?
Im in my Early 30's here, on finasteride (1mg) from past 2 years. doc advised me that take 15days break for every 3 months ? is it good to take break? or shall i continue the medication daily with out a break for years..
Good question 🤔!

Very useful advice. Thanks
But uh duh de side da fects?!??
My Turkish doctors strongly forbid minoxidil or anything like that. Why would they forbid?
And how is the result without finestirad? Tank you
how are the results now ?
ugh!! consistency is a bitch...lol
For me, I had pain after the surgery. Day 5 was the worst of the swelling and day 8 was the most painful. I think I was a bit harsher with washing my hair on day 8. Day 10 the pain was mild. Day 12 it was pretty much not there anymore. I did feel ongoing tighness and occasional sharp pains in the donor area for months afterwards.
7-8 months in, mine is looking stron on the hairline but weak to the transition to where the real receded line is. Hope it starts coming through back there soon
How's it going dude? I had the same issue but I'm seeing good progress
@@Zen-t2j it's evened out, but sill a bit too low on density. 10 months in now. Will have to see how it is in another half year. Maybe will choose to top up the area agter that point.

Some guys have a full set by month 4 and some guys barely has it come out by month 4
Lol I was the latter, didn't see serious growth till month 6. By month 10 I saw a lot, I was where some guys are at 5 months
Hey doc. How bad is the shedding when you first start?
It was quite bad for me for almost 28 days but my hair stopped falling after that ...1.5 months until now , waiting for results on my temples

@@JK_360_ below expectations so far , just baby hairs came out at balding temples , almost four months now. No density improvement, no sides
@@fraooqkhan2293 damn would have thought it would do more after 4 months. Did you have a fairly decent head of hair when you began it or obvious balding? Hopefully you see some better results soon.
@@JK_360_ i still have head full of hair, scap not visible .I was noticing my thinning hair, a widespread thinning from front to back from some years but when i started to lose my temples ,i freaked out and started this topical Monoxidil, recently added microneedling.Never took finasteride .Hair still there but i can easily look into my depressing bald future everyday i see in the mirror. Will go for prp after my anatomy exams are over . Goodnews is that Pyrilutamide is around the corner
What about full beard transplant? For those that don't have any beard in face, would it look natural?
