This looks really interesting, I was thinking if you could get a pokemon with a "glitched" moveset on the 3DS virual console version and use the pokebank to transfer them to newer generations. It might be posible since you can still find MissingNo on the 3DS but I don't now if the pokebank would allow you to transfer the "glitched" pokemon

So the reason for 'M and Missingno sharing the same information is not because of them being the same pokemon, in fact the 30+ Missingno and 'M are different by Internal ID, but there's another facet that is often overlooked especially when talking about glitch pokemon, Pokedex ID. Missingno uses Pokedex ID 0 to fill out the missing internal ID's of the space in the list. For example, Bulbasuar is Pokedex ID 0, but Rhydon is Internal ID 0. 'M uses the same information as Missingno is simply because 'M Pokedex ID is also 0, the same is Missingno. 'M internal ID is really 255 but the fact they share the same ID really just coincidence and honestly that's just kinda cool. The insanity goes even deeper! There's even glitch pokemon with pokedex ID that doesn't have an Internal ID tied to them, which means there's actually unobtainable glitch pokemon you can't encounter without Arbitrary Code Execution! Retro Game Mechanics Explained did a cool video showing how glitch pokemon sprites are handled, and even showcased the Glitch Dex ID's too! Honestly this glitch stuff is just so fascinating of what the games can do (or rather can't do)

i remember a glitch of sorts i was using when i was little with blue and stadium, i had mewtwo in my party in either slot 1 or 2, every time i'd beat the elite four and go through the credits, then look at mewtwo in stadium his special would go up by 1 point, so i farmed this and made a monster, beat the elite four so many times the game started having issues though. didn't matter what pokemon was there, the special would go up. also i had already given this mewtwo all the calcium i could.
