Very interesting! In Brazil, the Willys Wagon started produced in 1958, with the same design, but the engine was the Hurricane F-Head 6, BF-161 (2638 cm3), 90 Hp, used in USA in Willys Aero from 1952 from 1955, and not the Super Hurricane L-Head 6, 226 (3700 cm3), 105 Hp
Aside from knocking and the green looking like it was spray canned with 3 cans of paint from the front fenders back, it looks awesome. Both of those can be fixed, but I wouldn't drive or even run it again until it was overhauled. It is a very solid looking Willys.
Oh my god i love this car my dad have one wen i was kid. And wen my uncle toke the car away cuz my dad move to another country i cry like crazy for a long time
Well, if you only want to go 50 mph on the freeway, the original is for you. Me, I think 75 is going to get me somewhere. And try find parts, but if you never really go anywhere, original is good.
something like a rod bearing is knocking on that engine don't drive it before investigating the cause of that knock.
Very original vehicle. It should be preserved in a museum.
❤ Willys
In Brazil this car is named Rural Willys
The gear box was the same, T-90 ... 3 speed manual transmission (first speed is non sincromesh too)

Very nice example of a survivor car. I hope 6 years later you are still enjoying it.

Very impressive vehicle...58 Willys Wagon...A beaut...
Very nice indeed but it sounds as if the main bearings and connecting rods need some attention.

I bought a 1961 Willey"s as my first car. I also added the reverse lights. I wish I had that thing now. Keep it.!!>>
Glad to see I'm not the only person who refers to over-customization as 'molestation'.
