    I moved in my apartment 10 months ago , from the moment i moved in the neighbor's have been so loud they fight, yell, stomp and vaccume any time of the day and night during sleeping hours as well 12:30 ,1 ,2,3,4 am etc , i have reported it to management 10 months ago and still reporting it to them , the same people are still here and gets worse everytime i complain, i asked to be transferred, they asked for a reasonable accommodation for and dr to sign , i gave it to them , and would you know they gave me 3 options , to pay out my lease , or more into another unit starting over , or they can let me out my lease , mean while the neighbors are living their best life , can they make me pay more money which is the proce of the unit now? I would think iwould be paying the same since it is the same floor plan. Sorry for the long rant

    Thank you both Mr. A. Rodríguez & Mr. J. Aitchison for this succinctly, well done, informative 'Current' $tate' of Electricity & HVAC in 2023. In TH-cam's (YT) infinite wisdom, this video was added to my recommended list. Interesting part is perhaps because My wife and I were arguing about Going Solar earlier today and/or seeing how we reside on the East Coast (MD/DC/VA) or perhaps also cuz we're Premium YT Subscribers? Regardless, I learned some things I did not know thank you. P.S. To answer your Survey Question: Yes, I perform proactive maintenance on our system at the start of every season. Dunkin those modules from the electrostatic air-cleaner, and hosing off it's pre & post filters.

    How well or poorly managed an affordable housing property might be, can have consequences for future developers and their proposed developments. People will point to your property as a good or bad example. Will your property support YIMBYs or NIMBYs in the community??

    First off, congratulations on building 48 units for homeless veterans. Services for the unhoused is what this is about. Where can I see a detailed breakdown of what services and personnel made up the consulting fees? Also, why would LA Family Housing select a parcel that other market rate developers walked away from? Why select a project that going in, you should have known would cost above market rates due to the site complexity and extended development times? And was this the only parcel at the time that the County/City offered you?

    Those giant housing developments with "high density bonuses" do not have sufficient parking. This causes individuals working a swing-shift (off from work around 10pm to 2:00am) to drive around aimlessly hunting for parking once home from work. Sometimes the nearest parking space found is several blocks from his/her dwelling unit. This means the individual is more susceptible to crimes at night, night stalking, vehicle break-ins, vehicle theft, etc. This risk-factor is ballooned whenever a vehicle is actually stolen, then later found and stored at an Impound yard ... for we all know that the Impound yard will not release the vehicle unless the individual can pay the fee(s). Insult to injury people.

    How to get ahold of your panel? How to stop these crazy tri-level "rats in a cage" apartment complexes? These Developers are repeatedly incentivized to build "high density" without sufficient parking for tenants, the roommate, the spouse, the visiting social-worker, visiting friend, visiting church member, visiting work friend, etc.

    The property needs a gate. There has been many incidents, from small, to very serious ones. The safety of the residents, was neglected, by not closing up and gating the property. One cannot go to the dumpster at sun down, without having to look over our shoulders, to make sure there isn’t any trespassers who could inflict some kind of attack on us. A tenant was attacked, within the first year of the property opening, when he simply went to dump his trash at the dumpster in the evening. He could have lost his left eye. All he told the trespasser was that he wasn’t supposed to be here. We fear for our safety and most importantly the safety of our children and elderly. A good healthy community, is not only, the thought that went into how nice and new the units will be and look, but also, very important, that it is safe, and not constantly trespassed by outsider digging in the dumpsters or trying to break in laundry rooms to sleep in there or sleeping in the closed up dumpster. Or having people asking for money, as soon as you step out of your unit. It is a really nice community on the inside, but the area it is very unsafe and the driveway is so beneficial for outsiders walking and driving by, because it’s wide opened for them to use as a short cut. Again and again, the tenants who have brought the issue of the lack of the gate to Many Mansions, have always been told it can’t be done.

    Good vid, nice data, but is it really "racism" if it's an unintentional consequence of various intersecting and complex social issues? That strikes me as disingenuous. Isn't it moreso a result of nonchalant or ineffective policy makers than an overtly hateful group of people? oversimplification of a nuanced issue.

    Ouch! Everything was grey up until here. Insulting the person who wanted the therapy dog IN the pool. I find that you were retaliating, intimidating, insensitive and discriminating against her due to her disabilities. She apparently had a therapy dog for something... it would have more appropriate to handle her as dignified as anyone else! That disgusted me. The purpose of the discrimination laws to to protect the independence, DIGNITY, and (I can’t remember the other term lol) of the disabled. You could have suggested that you permit the dog to accompany her poolside but due to health concerns, unless steps were adopted and take to meet those hygiene standards. You must make ALTERNATE accommodations. Right? Additionally, ALL- laws, codes, regulations, rules, policies, practices, procedures are subject to the ADA, RA, and the FHA. I can cite case Precedents that substantiate this. This would include the health codes. I can cite a case here as well.

    Was there any talk of litigation for ur comment regarding the woman’s leg? Could that be actionable? Another common mistake in almost everyone’s teaching on these laws is referencing undue financial AND administrative burden... everyone uses OR improperly. Although one may be using the article or in instructing us to test for one and then the other, but not clarifying that BOTH must be present to meet that criteria...that’s how I interpret it....?

    All of you are blaming "the system" for these people's hardships. People can and do make poor choices. Capitalism isn't the problem. People are the problem. Nearly half of Americans are below literacy level 3. Add to that 70% of Americans do not have a degree and it is easy to see why so many suffer.

    • @tchadcarby8439
      @tchadcarby8439 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @David Ward Capitalism is not more important than people. Making poor choices is apart of what makes someone human. We need a system that doesn't allow people to suffer after making poor choices. We will no longer defend a system that doesn't care about peoples wellbeing. Ubi fixes this.

      @@tchadcarby8439 UBI is a Universal Business Income. UBI will tax away money that might have been saved or invested and put it into the hands of consumers who will spend it in businesses and make those owners immensely wealthy while increasing carbon emissions, increasing e-waste, and growing the lower class. It is unsustainable

    • @tchadcarby8439
      @tchadcarby8439 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@psychicspy I don't understand what you mean when you say ubi will "tax away money" when I ubi is given to people they go and spend the money on things they need the most. In fact studies have concluded that people spend the money on food, rent, their kids, right back into their local economies. They didn't become lazy. They didn't spend the money on drugs. They did positive things with it. And if a ubi is funded through a value added tax of 10% and made to fall heavily on luxurious items and no taxt for food and other things people need then that would be 100% sustainable. Business would see sales go up because people would have more spending power and that would increase employment. That has nothing to do with renewable energy. Do research beforehand.

    • @psychicspy
      @psychicspy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tchadcarby8439 VAT (Value Added Tax) is a consumption tax paid by the consumer, not the business. Since poor people don't have money to spend, someone who has money to spend will be forced to pay 10% more for goods and services just so the money can be given to poor people to spend. Ten cents on the dollar in the hands of a knowledgeable investor can be turned into capital investments. That same ten cents on the dollar in the hands of a consumer gets turned into consumption, ewasre, greenhouse gasses and an increase in the number of poor people. Not giving the poor an allowance will encourage them to be responsible adults. Giving the poor money will only serve to infantalize them.

    • @psychicspy
      @psychicspy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tchadcarby8439 Failure teaches people to make better decisions. UBI is welfare on the grandest of scales. No one is born into this world indebted to anyone else. The poor have no right to the fruits of someone else's labor. Charities are moral. Taxation isnt.
