Hi Daniel, I just watched your video where you show cutting into a metal door frame to install a larger strike plate. I have a metal door frame (I'm in a condo) and I want to install a door closer that is recessed into the door. It calls for a track that's recessed into the top of the door jamb. Could you recommend the optimal tool / blade to use to cut a 1" by 25" channel on the top panel. I was thinking a multi-tool with a carbide blade. I really don't feel comfortable using an angle grinder overhead. Thanks!
Yes sir a multi tool with metal cutting blades is the best bet. You will avoid any sparks thrown in unwanted areas. You still might have to start a line with a die grinder.
