I'd say 90% of getting views on a video is the video idea, if you could make a super interesting idea and be able to convey it properly with a title and thumbnail it's gonna blow up. and regarding the returning viewers thing, its good to have it be high so that you have a good baseline, for example. If you upload anything at all its guaranteed to get 10k or 100k or 1k but if you want explosive growth you need new viewers, which is why I hate looking at my analytics for a recent video and its getting 90% returning viewers and 10% new viewers just means TH-cam isn't even pushing my video out to new people only oldies. So yeah thats why ur most popular video is Among Us Hide N Seek, because you probably uploaded it when the gamemode was new so there was a lot of interest, and even if there wasn't, if an average joe read that title they'd be curious. you just gotta get better thumbnails and work on ur titles. Keep the grind up. I've been trying to do TH-cam full time and I've only succeeded this year after asking my dad if I could skip a year after graduating high school, this is my 3rd channel.
