It’s gets a bazillion stars lol ⭐️ you can find it at Walmart or Amazon - if not there are others like it just google it and you should be able to find a few - but I love mine and that is the brand it is. It can yes - but it is not difficult to remove like normal hair dye. You can dab some oil on a cotton ball paper towel and you can even use a little soap and water. 😎

It is organic and better than commercial hennas that may not be as pure. Also you can buy it on amazon and you can see if they have the brand that I buy - “light mountain” :-) let me know if this helps you. Thank you so much for watching.

Thank you so much for these tips. I totally agree with you on the beats if you have beet powder that also works super well I love hibiscus powder. I have used it before it is wonderful for the red tones. You are right. I am so glad I get to meet a fellow fan of light mountain. I have been using it for a very long time myself. You know what I’m gonna give it a try on the single color. I probably have to leave it on longer, but I think I’m gonna have a video series on doing single boxes as well thank you so much for watching. I love the comments.

@@CATryIt-jz4rc I have found that putting two winter hats over the plastic bag once the henna is on really helps with ultimate dye release! It keeps the heat from your head in the paste and no hair dryer needed.

Oof I’m sorry to hear that. It must’ve been terrible. You’re right in that The good thing about Henna is that you don’t necessarily need to use that many ingredients. I love the fact that you mentioned coconut milk, and low porosity hair. I have always heard that it was the coconut oil that is not ideal for low porosity hair because low porosity hair has tightly packed cuticles that make it difficult for moisture to penetrate the hair shaft. Coconut oil has large molecules that has trouble penetrating the tightly closed cuticle for low porosity hair. It could have been the protein in the coconut milk if that is what you used. I also hear that you can use a hair oil after applying henna instead of mixing it with it. A mix of four vegetable oils such as rice, sunflower, avocado, and sweet almond oil can be beneficial for low porosity hair. Or you can even add conditioner that you like to your henna recipe.

Yay I’m so glad and thank you for watching- The color stays pretty well actually you’re right it does depend on the type of hair you have and how fast it grows- for me…I have a lot of gray in my hair so I find myself using henna probably every eight weeks or so. That’s about how long it lasts maybe even longer it just depends on how much I want my gray roots to start poking out hahahaha. It’s great coverage and last pretty well in my opinion. In the past I’ve gone three months or so.

I think Henna is the best way to go when you’re trying to use something natural and I love all of the things that you can add to it depending on your hair and what you need. My mother, who is now passed away used to use a lot of box color in her hair almost monthly. And I always wondered if there was a better way. She also had very thin, thin hair and I just felt that it could not have been very good for her to use that all the time. Don’t get me wrong. She looked great though haha - but yes But I started messing with henna when I really didn’t want to use so many chemicals in my hair anymore. It’s been a wonderful solution and I’m glad you like it. Hi! Thanks so much for watching- yes if you want the highlights a light brown I’d go with honey bush teas or a light coffee mixed e chamomile. It also depends on your natural hair color :-) and you can buy a light brown henna too. Just try and get organic when you can. I will have more soon. Take care!

Hi of course and thank you for watching! :-) I mix my henna to get rid of the bubbles (w out metal by the way) for a good few minutes - the consistency and thickness should be like a pudding or a yogurt. There are many different shades of red and you can use beets like I did you can use teas like I did and you can buy good pure henna as it already by itself is red in color (Lawsonia Inermis). How long depends on your hair texture and color - I typically have it on my hair for about 3 hours total. My video does mention some of the details as well. :-) let me know how it turns out!

Hi thank you so much for your comment and questions and thank you so much for watching! I don’t measure much because different henna requires different measurements, but here is a good rule of thumb that I think you’ll like - Amla about 2 tablespoons - tea and coffee I mix together to get the desired color I want and then I add it to the henna - about 1 cup to each package of henna powder - and if I want a stronger highlight- i mix a stronger color first before adding to the henna. I hope that makes sense - let me know if that doesn’t help
