A short visit and a few shots of the Ffestiniog Railway's 'Bygones Weekend'. This is Sunday 6th with wet conditions in Porthmadog Harbour and a few from Tan Y Bwlch. Princess and Upnor Castle Linda, Merddin Emrys, David Lloyd George and the K1 October 2024.

Winding its way through the Oakley woodlands in Eryri / Snowdonia is the Ffestiniog Railways Merrdin Emrys. Working a heritage set of rolling stock as part of the railways 'Bygones' weekend.

Scotrail Intercity liveried 47712 stops at Leamington Spa on it's journey from Nantwich to Weymouth. The trains headcode was 1Z47. #railway #class47 #railtour #locomotive

Locomotive Services Ltd 'Statesman Railtour arrives and departs Solihull. The train had traveled to Weymouth from Nantwich. This is it's return working at Solihull with Class 57 311 leading.

Wythall meets Gaydon, for the third year running Wythall Transport museum along with it's buses visit The British Motor Museum Gaydon Warwickshire. A selection of other buses also visited the event, and looked immaculate. Both of the museums are a must visit for any motoring fans. A free bus link was provided from Leamington Spa Railway Station.

A historical crossing from Fleetwood to Knott End Lancashire. £2.50 each way, an excellent short trip. Please check the 'Knott End Ferry' Facebook page for timings as operations depend on the tides.
