Can we off this alarm which highlighted

Sir, where are the regulations of GMDSS testing for daily, weekly and monthly from? Are they from SOLAS or any other conventions? thanks.
Certificates and Documentation: Ship's Certificates: Ensure all vessel certificates (e.g., Safety, Load Line, ISM, ISPS, MARPOL) are valid and up to date. Crew Documents: Check the crew list, their certifications, and validity, including SOLAS training. Cargo Documents: Review cargo manifests and any hazardous materials documentation. Log Books and Records: Review the ship’s logbooks, including deck log, engine log, and bell book for recent entries. Check maintenance records and any open deficiencies or pending inspections. Condition of the Ship: Conduct a thorough inspection of the vessel's hull, deck, and superstructure for any damage or defects. Inspect critical equipment such as lifeboats, firefighting equipment, and navigation equipment. Safety Equipment: Verify the condition and readiness of life-saving appliances and firefighting equipment. Ensure safety drills and training documents are up to date. Navigation and Communication Systems: Ensure all navigation equipment (radar, GPS, ECDIS) is operational and properly calibrated. Check communication systems, including GMDSS, and test alarms. Fuel and Supply Levels: Confirm the current levels of fuel, fresh water, and other essential supplies. Review bunkering records and any upcoming fueling operations. Voyage Plans and Charts: Examine the upcoming voyage plan and review relevant charts for accuracy and updates. Ensure passage plan is in compliance with the company's safety management system (SMS). Crew Familiarization and Handover: Hold a meeting with key officers and crew for a briefing on ongoing operations and ship conditions. Ensure proper handover notes and discuss any significant issues with the outgoing Captain. Port State Control (PSC) and Flag State Inspection Reports: Review recent PSC reports and ensure any deficiencies have been addressed. Company Policies and Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the company’s SMS and any specific operational procedures. Ensuring these checks are completed will help the newly joined Captain to have a smooth transition and maintain operational integrity and safety on board.

How can I maintain a navtex file if we don't have a printer in the same typ navtex
You do not need to. Make sure if the data feed in ECDIS is available, you must review them on priority basis and need to draw like manual user map to highlight if important for the passage, but showing them as MSI on display is not enough and not recommended as well as it may obscure important message also in some cases due to wrong coordinate input by ecdis things become more hazy. Hope this helps. Thanks mate
cannot able to change the ocean region / in the left top menu continuously showing comm(TX) / and the light on the panel all the three is glowing / no any transmission happening / cannot login / kindly advise what will be the issue or problem
When a marine satellite communication system (Sat-C) fails to commission properly, there can be a variety of reasons behind it. Some possible causes include: Hardware Issues: Faulty Equipment: Defective components such as antennas, transceivers, or satellite modems can prevent proper operation. Incorrect Installation: Physical installation errors, such as misalignment of antennas or faulty wiring, can lead to signal loss or poor performance. Power Supply Problems: Insufficient or unstable power supply to the equipment may cause failure during commissioning. Software Configuration Issues: Incorrect Settings: Misconfiguration of IP addresses, transmission frequencies, or protocol settings can prevent the system from connecting properly to the satellite network. Firmware/Software Bugs: Outdated or corrupted firmware/software in the communication equipment might result in the failure of the commissioning process. Above is not accurate reasons but may so. Simple system restart may sometime solve this issue which u may have tried several times. Best is to inform shaore based service provider

In the file manager its only show RTN format files
depends on type of ecdis. usually it does not support CSV while importing Route into ECDIS
@ yes i tried its not supporting
Exporting the CSV file from ecdis But can we import the CSV file again to the ECDIS
Marine ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System) typically supports route imports through formats like RTN, GPX, KML, or XML, rather than CSV. However, some ECDIS software might have the ability to convert or import CSV files, depending on the specific system and software version. If you’re working with CSV files, you may need to use an intermediary software or tool to convert the CSV data into a compatible format for the ECDIS. Refer User Manual for further 😌
Its Your hard work, talent, and perseverance have paid off in the most incredible way. Salute captain keep it up ❤

How to reply to an email sent via inmarsatc? It keeps coming back as negative delivery
First of all you can not reply an email similar to our common emailing service through internet. You only send an email keeping CC to few other recipients as required. All of them will receive the email you sent. But remember it is a paid service, make sure your company has subscribed accordingly to the service provider 😌
Allowed time is 60 minutes only. I reduced speed to D.S Ahead to pass between 2 vsl lady bird and scorpio..after abeam alter course roughly as your route and increased speed to Nav.Full. Because of 60 mins, i didn't get to the route in time. The result is Fail with speed not reduced. Sad 😢

Exercise parameters not completed - severity high and radar plotting and monitoring BOTH penalty and awardAT THE SAME TIME. I failed . and I have no idea what the heeelll are these parameters???? I clearly set cpa for 1 mile as in cpt. night orders, what is this anyway????? Could you possibly explain??
Noted the situation. Look!! very first thing you have to deal with this exercise in a bit of a technical way. 1. Radar issue : you must plot at least those are concerned, either you can choose auto plot in the setting or as per concern manually do it, time to time you must check those data as well. This test has no relation with our real case scenario, so no worries even experienced masters also fail some time due to this unfriendly and unrealistic test. However my entire video and the descriptions may help you. Hope you will pass😍
