My dad had heard these coyotes and told me about them so i went aftet them! My parents and daughter listened to me calling these coyotes from the front yard. Then they heard me shoot as well and called after the shot to congratulate me. lol. but I wasn't quite finished.

Guess what, as long as you insist on wearing those shades you are going to get busted! Whether they are on your face or up on your cap, they are just like mirrors to those coyotes, and they see them immediately when you move your head! Lessons learned the hard way many years ago!

@@wisconsincoyotecallin8620 I did not know Tikka made a varmint version. All of the Tikka's I have seen have those pencil thin barrels. I prefer a heavy rifle. I am a big man and the weight is not an issue for me. I will see if I can find one. Thank you.

@tinkerputzer1 i just haven't been coyote hunting.. August-november is mainly all deer hunting for me, besides a coyote stand here and there!.

Marginal shots like that should not be taken, you made that animal suffer needlessly

The alternative is him getting so old his teeth rot and then he can't eat and he dies from starvation, or a bigger animal such as a wolf or another big coyote kills him alive? I mean please elaborate on what route of death would be better than a shot to the point he was basically dead and then a follow up shot 5 mins later?
Are you serious, I am a hunter and I only take shots that are as certain as possible to kill quickly, you gambled and that coyote paid the price for your recklessness. And you have the audacity to suggest that you did it a favor

Your reply says everything about you I have shot dozens of coyotes and never felt the need to glorify myself by videotaping the kills. Maybe you should spend more time practicing at the range instead of trying to convince everyone about how cool you are
