Warning- do not travel Sun Country. Cancelled my flight with no notice. Refund and adjusted travel accommodations are a joke. Won’t even cover 25% of the costs I now face.

Sky Express is the worst airline in the world. Please consider yourself super lucky: if you do not experience 2-3 hours delays, you have your luggage intact at the end, and do not make you fry in the hot aircraft. They do not have customer service, and anything that can happen to you they reply to you by email 3 months later. They do not give you any food or even water, and their aircrafts are super tiny and uncomfortable. Maybe it started super sighny and cute at the beginning; but today July 2024, is the worst airline out there. They broke one of our luggages and we are still waiting for a response after 1 year. And for sure the current employees are not smiling or are even polite.

This video wasn’t helpful at all. It would have been nice to see the check-in and boarding process. Also…we didn’t see anything of the plane other than the wing and the seat back in front of you. I didn’t need 5 minutes of you talking at home post trip. Take some video of the plane and do voiceover to make it more engaging. You repeated the same facts over and over again, which I understood the first time. I will not be returning to your videos.

My family and I were loyal Aegean customers for at least a decade, after the original Olympic Airlines failed (and Air France would be best avoided due to their ludicrous prices and onboard service). Yet all of us now mostly use Sky Express for the better part. Why ? Firstly, Aegean's prices have skyrocketed ever since traffic picked up from Covid pandemic. Secondly, their onboard service went from stellar to absolutely awful. It's now even worse than the likes of AF or LH, almost on par with Easyjet. I mean, Sky Express doesn't offer much more in the way of onboard offerings, but at least it's half cheaper most of the time. Plus aircrafts are identical in both airlines. On quite a few destinations, it simply doesn't make sense to choose Aegean anymore. They went from a great and fresh alternative to then rusty decaying Olympic, to a greedy mean big business. I really don't understand how they're still able to win awards anymore...

they used to have a decent, affordable first class cabin with hot meals and free alc. So this is no longer my airline.

Agree that the catering leaves a bit to be desired however your description of mediocre is not totally accurate. The seats in United Polaris, and the Polaris lounge are above and beyond most US legacy carriers and above some other foreign carriers too. You didn't get the full Polaris experience due to your last minute free upgrade so please qualify your review that this does NOT reflect the full Polaris experience and be more descriptive at how you arrived at your mediocre review. Which aspect of the experience was rated? Is the seat and sleep experience weighted more than the inflight catering? Was the service quality from the staff weighted too? Or is your mediocre review solely based on the catering? (which I totally agree with you here.. United has some of the worst catering.. But the Polaris lounge makes up for it) Any Business Class review should outline the ground experience, then flight experience.... For most people flying business class is for the lie flat seat and their quality of sleep. If we based your review on that, the lie flat seat, bedding quality (saks fifth Avenue nonetheless), sleep quality... Would you then say Polaris Business Class is one of the BEST out there? Interested to see what you think.

Your review is interesting and a bit off base and unrealistic. You mention Covid several times in the review and yet you provide a "mediorce" review. I am curious, have you flown Polaris before Covid so you have a baseline of the service and meal (including menus). Reviews like this who knock airlines for the food service in the era of Covid are a bit ridicolous and to say the least a bit prententious. I am reminded of the gentleman who flew SIA a few weeks into Covid and complained he didnt get Champagne. Wonder if you are related, perhaps? I have flown Polaris several times before and during Covid and understand what United is doing in terms of food offerings and service. I am disappointed with the service, but understand the situation and do not blame the company or other airlines. I believe you should be a wee bit more flexible and adatable in your opinion, especially since you got an upgrade. United take note! Have you flown Polaris since June 1 and the return of normal service and yes "menus"

I'm sorry you had this experience! As a flight attendant I have to advise you that United serves a limited alcohol selection in Polaris. However, flight attendants reserve the right to refuse serving alcohol should a concern arise, such as an intoxicated passenger. In my 20+ years as a flight attendant I've had to stop all alcohol service a few times so that angry intoxicated passengers wouldn't see me serving it to other passengers. My guess is that's what happened in your case. Or, the catering department didn't load the alcohol due to staffing/supply shortages. That's happened to my flights as well. Hopefully next time is better 🙏

'Flew back from Frankfurt last August on United Polaris. It was appalling compared to the United I use to fly. I think they're the only intl. carrier in business class that doesn't offer at least a menu. I didn't get a pre departure drink, although it looks like they might have started that up again. My biggest complaint is the "one tray" service, which you are also obliged to take out of the flight attendant's hands, rather than it being set down in front of you. I'm flying them again in May, only because I have some credit with them, which they refused to refund to me in cash. Believe me, once I've burned thru the credit, I'm done with US flag carriers, unless the service level improves by then....

Spirit airlines: you pay less money for a flight, you pay way way more in suffering.

We flew United Polaris from Rome to Newark back in 2018. Great experience. Awesome food and handmade ice cream sundaes for dessert. Doing it again in March ‘22 from São Paulo to Newark. Hoping greatly it’s not reduced service due to Covid (saving money).

Great value! Here in the UK on our cheap flights (which are much more expensive) you definitely don't get food (even water) and no in flight entertainment. In fact one of ours Ryanair at one point charged £1 to use the toilet 😂
