Selena Quintanilla-Perez interview with Tejano Country(One day after the 1995 Grammys)
มุมมอง 7K12 ปีที่แล้ว
One of her last interviews.
Utada Hikaru interviews Aaliyah(June,2000)-Japan
มุมมอง 49K12 ปีที่แล้ว
Two of my favorite singers(R&B & J-pop) chatting it up.
Is there a version without the background music I can watch?
It's sad to hear all the things that she was expecting and the change she would have made on the world! It still blows my mind! and I literally became a fan fan right after she passed. I remember being young and hearing her music but, never seen who she was, interviews etc. Living up north, we wasn't privy to all the TV channels they had in Texas. She was literally my 1st Idol. But unfortunately she didn't see how much she impacted the world. Forever my #Reina #SeimpreSelena
omg?!?!?
I am a Filipino who loves to listen to her songs especially Amor Prohibido even if i don't understand the lyrics i still love it
This is GOLD
OH MY GOSH??
She right about that on 4:23
Two legends together.
2 Capricorn GOATS! Love them. Long live Aaliyah & Utada 444ever 💫
<3
Selena always gave credit to her family and band, she was absolutely right, it takes the whole team for success. She and her family came from nothing and buit legacy. I admire and respect the Hispanic community and selena and her family were mexican american that made the americna dream come true. ❤❤❤
I herd how she mentioned country music I live her songs but I wish I got to see a recording of her singing country music cause I love hearing her sing Spanish but also genres out side what she normally sings
Well spoken and natural charisma . A lot more mature for her age not like people her age nowadays …
Wtff??🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😭💞💞💞
Love ❤️ 😍 💖 selenaaaaaaa
Aaliyah was so fly. She was ahead of her time. It's pretty dope to know Hikaru Utada interviewed her decades ago. RIP Baby girl.
She is so beautiful😍😘❤️
I love her Authenticity
💗💗💗💗💗💗
Love how they communicate with each other
Great interview. She was so great at answering questions with such ease. This must have been just a few months before her death? And yes…a great role model, so natural for her.
I'm asian. Listened to Selena since 1994 (heard her music on radio & been a fan since). A lot of us do as her beautiful soul came through that beautiful voice which made languages, colors, politics, etc. transparent, borderless, and boundless. An agent of love, greatness, happiness, and kindness
So sweet 🫶🙌❤️
💯👌😎👌💯
selena had a beautiful heart❤rest in peace angel🙏👼❤🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
She was talking about the group crossing over which is what she wanted but the record label later told her just her...no band. She then was having second thoughts she didn't want to be without them according to conversations with her brother. But she still moved forward with the recordings because she had already signed the contract. The morning of the 3/31/95 she was supposed to be heading to the studio to do more recording after meeting with Yolanda but then her time sadly came to a tragic end.
Good thing Hikaru-san had a chance to interview Aaliyah as the latter died in plane crash on August 25, 2001. RIP Aaliyah Haughton (1979-2001)
she's so beautiful and possess great voice...
Always and forever 💗♾️
Such an intelligent young lady! ❤️
She was so beautiful.
The Coca Cola vendor lady in white shirt is sooo lucky, she took pictures of Selena while she was being interviewed.
Can you imagine Utada was only 17 when this happened!? She was only 4 years younger than Aaliyah!!!
Am i the only one surprised she spoke english so fluently? Did she start learning it when she was young?
Yep, English was her first language. Learned to sing in Spanish as a kid because of her father, learned songs phonetically. Learned to speak Spanish years later, and still had many slip-ups like the famous "diez y cuatro" interview....and her laugh was contagious. She was an absolute rare jewel, no matter the language
English is her first language
A gorgeous soul gone to soon 💕😘
I love hearing her voice
Como la flor and la carcacha. Favorite song to perform.
Damn Rodney 🤣
Se imaginan que Selena ♥️ hubiera sido coach de la voz mexicooo ♥️😍👌✨o en el mundial o en el super bowl
Aaliyah and Kingdom Hearts 😍
dam , what could of been.........
😔😔😔
That texan country accent
I love Selena 🌹💜
Love her earrings.. her style crazy
I've watched a lot of her interviews and this one is my favorite. She's so chill and relaxed. Beautiful spirit. Beautiful woman.
Because she’s like the rest of us. Unlike some famous people, she didn’t have her success HANDED to her. She and her family had to work for it. She also wasn’t born on a silver platter. She came from a regular middle class household like the rest of us. At one point, they went bankrupt and had to move to their uncle’s house. And despite her success, she shows that her family means the world to her and she loves her fans and greets them with a smiling face and nothing less.
Utada Hikaru & Aaliyah!
Such a beautiful, humble and kindhearted soul.. you don't get much of that anymore from some celebrities these days. Selena was and still is a unique and one of a kind person. We miss you Selena!!
