Tbf it's half the chances of getting a legendary from a boss, that you can do two times in a row without combat, and that's per chest. Imagine the room after the dragons if they were legendaries. Every other farm would instantly be obsolete, and the tina dlc would be even more in everyone's faces than it already is. Imo they should have made unique purples that only come out of the chest with a 20. Instead of magic grenades something more similar to the fastball. Or a chance at the swordsplosion in one. Etc.

@@MingRubfes I just looked it up and a dice roll is a .25% chance to get a Legendary or Pearl (in other words 1/400 dice rolls will be legendary) normal rolls will never be, which is crazy low. I think something between the 2 would be ideal The dragon chests are visually impressive but I almost never find myself keeping something from there. Maybe increasing the cost of rolling the dice (to compensate for Butt Stallion) and making a 20 be guaranteed to be a Gemstone Weapon would be a good compromise

I didn't think about the Chain Lightning. There's a lot of people who say melee is bad at OP10 and this build also kinda proves that it is good.

@ the chain lightening does help a lot stripping your shields. Melee is very good in OP10. I play a bit of melee zero. I’ve killed whilhelm at OP10 with zero melee. Tbf zero does have some skills helping with enemies with range. Melee is very fun but it does require skill and mostly patience I would say.

​@@Jarrad-t3ichain lightning shield stripping also really helps melee Gaige if you are using a hide so that you can also have DT out. Love thumper can only be used with her if you don't use DT.

@@kylethomasmesser love thumper can be used on any one. It’s a good shield. Did you mean also l? But yeah I don’t play gaige much but I know she can melee well with her cap stone.

Yeah, this could be used as an example of how useful the turret is. I'm pretty sure launcher damage bonuses do not affect launcher splash, because the Carnage shotgun deals launcher splash but doesn't receive the launcher damage bonus from Steady

@@alphab01mcoc83 man you and demonite are actually the best channels showcasing how good axton is. Yeah splash damage is interesting. I think they are like two other splash damage aswell from doing some research it’s very bizarre if you look at damage types in BL2. Great video as always.

Well, when you copy a character, all of the gear on that character including the what's in the safe also gets copied. No, it doesn't have to be a mission reward

Yeah, but the gemstone effect gives it a bonus +167% accuracy

@@alphab01mcoc83 that’s a huge buff for that gun. Plus get the right stock because the recoil can get a bit out of hand. Great AR with the right parts and used correctly. I don’t know the crit bonus jakobs AR get but I know it’s a big buff.

​@@Jarrad-t3i The gemstone effect also helps with this gun's recoil, but it may be different for every gun and prefix, also Axton does improve recoil through skills like Steady and Metal Storm, plus as long as it's not Jakobs stock it's usable.

Yes Krieg does have a skill that does that, it's in his Bloodlust skill tree. It doesn't necessarily make him an assault rifle character, but you could probably make a pretty good build on him. Thanks!

@@alphab01mcoc83 well it can do some high damage but there is one problem it only works when you are in FFYL and the issue with that is that they are different gun types you would rather use to get out of FFYL then assault rifle. It’s just not very well thought out. But I would say Axton is definitely the best class for assault rifles. I just wished they made the com a legendary. Imagine the damage potential of that. Also Duty calls should of been an AR skill.

@@robin061993 I've just got mine a few days ago I haven't actually used it yet, this was the only time I've fired it so far. I'll have to test if it's good on Axton, but I do know that even though the Cobra is technically an explosive weapon, it does not receive grenade damage bonuses.
