To answer the question about holiness. Technically the word Holy isn't in the original Hebrew text. The definition of Holy is refers to something that is dedicated to a God or deity. The correct translation is "set apart". So technically we should be set apart from the world, and not do what the world does. The word Holy originates from the Proto-Indo-European language, the ancestor of many European languages. The word stems from the PIE word *keh₂ilos, which meant "whole, healthy, or uninjured." This connection suggests that holiness was originally associated with completeness and physical well-being. Over time, the meaning of "holy" evolved to encompass spiritual wholeness and a connection to the divine. This shift is reflected in the Old English word "hālig," which meant "holy, consecrated, sacred, and venerated."

We are a family from Ukraine, Odessa, we are 5 people: me, my wife Yulia and three children 6, 10, 12 years old. We've lived in Ukraine all our lives. But the full-scale war that Russia started against Ukraine has forced millions of Ukrainians to leave their homes and homeland. Unfortunately, the war in our country does not stop, and Ukraine again receives thousands of Russian missiles that destroy whole cities, neighbourhoods, houses and human lives. For many of us this emigration became forced, not from a good life. We recently learned that the US government has provided Ukrainians with a legal way to come to the States and stay safe. This programme is called "United for Ukraine" (U4U). In order for a Ukrainian family to travel to the United States, it is necessary for a US citizen or someone with legal status to sponsor them. We are currently looking for someone to help us move to the US through the U4U programme. We would like to ask if you or someone you know could be our sponsor with a documentary invitation for our family and help us with temporary housing, please (just for 1-2 months so that we have time to do the paperwork, find a job and be able to rent a place)? We are a decent, friendly family, no bad habits and no pets. I am a history teacher, I am 42 years old, and my wife is an English teacher. I am to a lesser extent , but my wife and our children speak fluent English. We would greatly appreciate your help if it is not too much trouble for you. I realise that this request may sound very strange and discouraging. Only individuals, not organisations, not foundations, can take part in the programme. But we don't know many people in the US, so today we are asking and knocking on all doors in the hope that our family will find an answer and support. Thank you very much. I a spiritual Jew crafted into the family by Yeshua Ha Massiah long time ago , but this is the first time I seen your service. I cried all the way through, feeling of the Holy Spirit always creates that happy tears. I seen Gods chosen ones being little children being in the presence of the Lord. It was the most heartwarming feeling. I am not well and have to rest a lot but I think there is a reason for that God is calling me pray for Israel, the people the land for Jerusalem and I do that fervently for quiet a while. However my heart is heavy for all abuse and hate the world is throwing at you like stones. Rejoice Israel, restored and saved the way as only Adonai can do it.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️

GREAT MESSAGE PASTOR STEVE!

God speaks to us in burning bushes. God speaks to us in Scriptures. God speaks to us through his Son. God speaks to us through music. God speaks to us through friends. God speaks to us through children. God speaks to us through donkeys. God speaks to us through storms. God speaks to us through trials. God speaks to us through tragedies. God speaks to us through a rainbow. God speaks to us through the elderly. God speaks to us through anything and everything He chooses to do. Because He is God, and we are not. We need to listen carefully to the voice of God!

Joshua says, “choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). That is what we choose today!

Very good comparison of the children of Israel being assimilated into Egypt (Mitzraim) to the spiritual children of Israel who are scattered among the nations, and YES the United States of America. HaSatan is the Prince of this world seeking whom he may devour; including our children. One of the most quoted verses about parenting is found in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” (English Standard Version). We MUST teach our children godly behavior. We must raise our children to behave like God's Son, Yeshua. If we do, our children will face ridicule, persecution, and unfairness. Not, just from students and peers; but from teachers, relatives, neighbors and sadly from their own parents. We need to teach our children to "Choose this day, whom they will serve". We all need to draw a line in the sand, and decide whether we choose to serve this world, and the god of this world, or to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Praise to the God of lsreal who lived for ever Amen.
