LOGIG (Part 4 Bonus - Different Notations)
มุมมอง 1072 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is a bonus video to part 4 of our series where we look at different forms of notation for logic. This is not all possible forms of notation, and it is possible that I have made some errors in my explanation. If you are interested in any of these notations you should look into it for yourself. 00:00 - Introduction 01:25 - Quantifiers (coming soon) 02:22 - Set 1 (Our format) 03:28 - Set 2 (A...
LOGIC (Part 4 - Syntactic Logic)

Hi, thanks for waiting, here is part 4 of our logic series where we actually leave language behind altogether and look ad a basic way of analysing arguments from their syntax. If you have any comments or questions please leave them below.
LOGIC (Part 3 Bonus: The Laws of thought)
มุมมอง 3.4K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is a bonus video on the fundamental laws of thought that come even before the logic we have learned so far; they give us a bit of a look at what logic can do for us in the world. Please let me know what you think below. ^^

LOGIC (Part 1 BONUS: What is abstraction?)
มุมมอง 9882 ปีที่แล้ว
An additional video for part one of our logic series where I try to deal with one of the common problems people have with logic - it is so very very (very) ABSTRACT! What is abstraction, how does it help us? And why is it so connected with logic. LOGIC (Part 1 - Statements & Symbols)

Thank you very much for your course of logic. Contrary to may other courses, where the respective teacher speaks a doubtful English, not so easy to understand, your method of giving lessons is most welcome for a non-native English speaker. I am really thrilled and lucky to have found your presentation on this channel.

Hi Adam. Thanks for this course, I'm really enjoying it. Just to let you know there is an error in the slide at just before 4 mins, when you're introducing the bus / train to London example. Your spoken word has it correct, but the second sentence of the slide has the bus and the train the wrong way round. Best wishes, John

When I use the word "inverse", I mean that the pair of questions use inverse condition types (necessary or sufficient); but these examples also invert A and B in different places - and inverse can have other meanings in maths, so this was a bad word choice all round 😬😆
