Thank you for the explanation , I think the one way to solve the integral is to use trig substitution, but if you actually try it the math gets gross pretty fast. So your intuitive approach is very useful.

Would love to hear a more In-depth review after you have listened to the album more as I have and only gets better every time. I don’t know if Weiland got heartbroken but I highly suggest you look at the lyrics for each song. Mellotron is my favorite track for lyrics as It made me tear up. As for the accent you pointed out, I personally really loved it. The reason I think Weiland used an accent is for the delivery. A simple lyric from his song like a dangerous woman “she said she wanna dance, but I don’t dance” could be said with no accent and come plain. However, the accent adds to it making it addicting to say. It’s like the rapper, Yeat, known for his use of words like saying “how does he does it” even though it makes no sense it’s catchy and used on purpose because no one is talking like that. Farewell is a great track but his darkest lyrics-wise and with heavy voice effects. I personally rate it a 10/10 album and can’t wait to see how weiland will continue to progress from amazing album 🖖🏻

Loved this review, as a Weiland fan I love his plug songs but his transition from plug beats to what he did on Vices is insane Coming into this album I was amazed at the high production and catchy chorus. I can confidently say that there are no bad songs on this album and my top 3 are easy: Hard Time, Better Place, and Mellotron Once again I loved your reaction since we have been waiting years and honestly thought he was going to push Vices back on a later date as Weiland is known to push back dates due to label issues but amazing review 🖖🏻🖖🏻🖖🏻
