    It is sad, that not once did these religious guys mention the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST - nor did they even mention HIS Name --- nor did they mention the fact that their main purpose as a Church is to equip their congregation to then go out and fulfill Christ's call to all those who follow HIM to... " GO out and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the SON, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe and obey all the teachings of Jesus Christ as handed down to us through the HOLY WORD of God - the Bible. I replayed the start of the video in case I had missed something, but I hadn't. You failed to include a greeting in English, your native language. Why? Small wonder that that Anglican membership numbers are abysmal, and falling as we speak. Or are you seeking to boost your Maori membership. Fat chance there. Go woke, go broke...

    If the deceased is a Christian it's a easier to perform these karakia but when the person is an unbeliever or atheist it's a lot more difficult what do say in a situation like that?

    • @johngraham5948
      @johngraham5948 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Carry on with your karakia wether christian or non christian let God take care of the rest as Christians we offer the soul of the deceased back to God in Jesus name we are the mouthpiece it's our obligation out of love for humanity

    Thank you Bishop Ross for sharing such a beautiful reflection on the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. What an amazing example she was of Christian witness to us all. A life lived for God, in the service of our Soveriegn, who reigns Supreme. The King of kings.

    Thank you on behalf of us all, within the Diocese of Auckland, for offering these respectful words. Indeed, we are most mindful at this time of The Queen as a true and faithful servant of Christ, the King she was called to serve. May she Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory, leaving this world for the next heavenly realm.

    Splendid way to understand the practical connection of our crucifixion doctrine with the enormous and heartrending reality of Mediterranean refugee transience. Fascinating too that Lampedusa is also the home of our retired Pope - "our" Pope in the sense that Popes, active or retired or gone on into a greater light, are part of the whole whakapapa of the who'le church and the whole world, Thanks Ross for your leadership,

    A privilege to listen to Reverend Jacynthia and Pihopa Hori (George) Connor share their reflections (as part of a team) on their part of the translation process of the ANZPB into Māori. They both have significant Christian Mana, in my view, for all the good work they have done as translators and scribes. This is a significant moment in history they are recalling. I hope someone does a doco on that time and this good work one day. Thank you Reverend Jacynthia and Pihopa Hori (George) Connor. The translation discussion starts at minute 10 on this video.
