CACC Snake Pit Japan
Old Footage of the late Great Billy Robinson and Yukou Miyato in Japan.
In 1992, Yukou Miyato met Billy Robinson when they were both wrestling for UWF International. This meeting sparked an almost 3 decade teacher-student relationship that continues this day, despite the legendary Robinson passing away in 2014. Yukou Miyato continues to teach Billy's CACC style to his students in Japan.
Billy Robinson was a British professional wrestler from Lancashire, England and is widely regarded as one of the top wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling.
Such was Miyato's yearning to learn the CACC style of wrestling from Billy, he opened a Catch As Catch Can gym in Koenji, Japan and installed Billy as the head coach once Billy retired from professional wrestling. Over the course of nearly 3 decades, Yukou Miyato trained daily in the Billy Robinson style of CACC that Billy himself learned at the from Billy Riley at the Wigan Snake Pit.
Yukou Miyato is considered but many to be the student who spent the most time with Billy Robinson.
Modern Professional Wrestling, MMA, and Luta Livre has its origins in Catch as Catch Can wrestling.

Luta Livre is the same as Catch Wrestling, just a different name.
Thank you for posting
Is he still alive ?
Billy? No, he passed away in Feb. 2014. Yokou Miyato is still alive.
Luta Livre is legit but I fail to see how this CACC that's in reality prowrestling for fake fights is any good use?
.. Look up Sakuraba and Josh Barnett....they are notable CACC wrestlers trained by Miyato-Sensei in Snake Pit Japan. Also look up Erik Paulson.
Catch Wrestling! The best in the world!
I love Catch Wrestling and Luta Livre. I’ve been watching documentary videos about them and matches online. I really wish I could’ve learned it, but it seems that due to the pandemic, the only Catch Wrestling and Luta Livre gyms here in the Philippines have been either permanently closed or yet to be re-opened.
Is catch same as Lutra livre?
LL is from CACC(^^)
Yes, they're the same.

Hello wthat is diferrence snake Pit catch wrestling and luta libre Brazilian.
@@DanielLopes-q8l Hi, Daniel. The best thing for you to do so you don't get a 100 different answers is message SP directly and ask them what exactly is their style and then find an old reputable gym in brazil that teaches Luta livre and ask them the same question. Watch videos of each different style and then you will have your answer directly from 2 different direct sources.
Very cool!
RESPECT!🙏🏻 Your Photos on Facebook are AWESOME! Please share this video.
Awesome! 👊💪🔥🔥🔥
Thank you very much!
