Roger Daltrey recording his part of "Saturday Night's" for Elton John / Bernie Taupin tribute album "Two Rooms" at Revolution Studios July 1991. Pete Townshend had already recorded his part at Eel Pie Studios. In after remarks, John Entwistle says little, probably because his name is misspelled in the font.

Baloo, Shere Khan, and Leo get their Valentine's Day presents a day early at Noah's Ark, Locust Grove, Georgia. If Baloo (the bear) seems sluggish, well, it is hibernation time. The presents were scented with Obsession perfume that, oddly, the animals seem to really enjoy.

Two of the best 😁😁😄
When this came out, I was just a boy. I'll get me coat.
Thank you Roger leo sayer said a thousand times.
1:52 Lyrics: Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!
Hard hitting tune for that time....harder than any beatles, stones kinks...
Love this song xxx
Leo sounds like Elton John here !
Ah the 70s great times
... gorgeous...
Love this song !!!
Roger is a different class
2 fingers up to Adam Faith
At 1:51 I finally learned what the background chorus says.
Hendrix was still playing in Little Richards band, when Pete Townshend was on the forefront of this brilliance.
This is fantastic
goinghard
Leo Sayer is so massively underrated. Amazing voice, brilliant song
It was so good back then 1965 video the who is just so good to listen to and just perfectly masterpiece I love the music I just listen and sing along and it makes me feel all good❤❤❤❤❤😅😅😅😅
Excellent 👍
Daltrey Is brilliant.
Roger sung this on his brief 2024 tour and he sounded great. He hasn't lost his voice yet even at 80 years old
Interesting that they never went for any harmonies; all done in unison. But what a fantastic collaboration, two great artists together!
I would never have put these two together but they sound amazing! Complimenting one another's voice, fabulous 😁
Dig the early Who, in 1965.
It’s bit sad?
Purely visceral. Nothing like that before 1965.
The Kinks
@ there’s an argument that the kinks ripped off PNW garage bands from 1962/63.
Saw the band during the '76 U.S. tour. My ears are still ringing. The loudest, cleanest sounding show I have ever experienced.
3rds
Hard to believe this was the (almost) same band I saw live in 1989 in a giant outdoor stadium with about 50k people screaming behind me and Pete right in front of me blowing out my eardrums. Good times, great band.
Have the Special-edition DVD of this doc...a fascinating watch, both of the film and the restoration of it!💎
Superb
To think that this was effectively killed off by TOP.
Feet wide apart even when sitting, Roger, a true rock legend.
Masterpiece of a song
I remember seeing this live back in the day and was blown away by this joint performance from Roger and Leo it was pure class 🎶❤
I love him
Absolute class, two legends of their day
My left ear is jealous…
Sloppy grundge ol Roy big Phan beetles
Keith Moon was the greatest from the very beginning....
Beautiful. The only good thing about Leo .
Roger basically blows Leo away - far more depth of feeling is conveyed and, of course, his voice is peerless.
2 superb singers
Very nice! BTW - how do they manage to shave so smooth?
What an incredible record fantastic feedback One classic 45 after another
was it a rickenbacker 1993 or 1997? I can't understand if it's a 6 or 12 strings... astonishing sound btw
Daltey what a fucking legend 👏
People talk about who invented feedback, who this, who that...but no one did it like this!! no one was this aggressive! there were other aggressive protopunk bands in 1965 like "Los Saicos" from Peru, but NO ONE played like The Who.
