Thanks for the tips! I haven't sold there in years but i can't really sell any clothes online because no one ever is interested. Or they want me to sell it super cheap and it wouldn't even be worth it for me but now i am to the point where I have some clothes I want to get rid of but don't want to throw them away and some money is better than no money. But i will definitely be looking up the brands to see how much they retail for. I was told years ago when i did sell to Plato's that my clothes were out of style. So I like how you went early in the morning and keep bringing back the same clothes they refused so someone else can look through it.

Hi! I’m curious if you feel like your success to social media ? There’s a lot of people that bash whatnot staying you can’t make money etc… it’s pretty discouraging. I’ve only done couple shows. I’m trying out a new niche this weekend (I was doing more random items before) . Hoping to stick to a category right now . Do you have any tips on selling nonbrand items on Poshmark? I know that brand names are ideal, but I have mostly nonbrand items that I resell.

As an update cuz I noticed a lot of videos on whatnot say you can't use flat rate boxes you can now use flat rates on whatnot you just have to mark it as a flat rate

Too many heels in this box - and no athletic shoes - usually they include sneakers of some sort. I bet the Tory Burch & Nicholas Kirkwood shoes are going to save this box. Have you tried cleaning patent leather marks with acetone? It works - but take it slowly. OH! Almost forgot - the Franco Sarto loafers are really cute! Wishing you speedy sales👍

I got a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood flats in a ThredUp shoe box last year and sold them for $187. They were brand new. I have great memories about that box! :) Good luck with those!

I just lost my first case as a seller this week. Buyer kept changing her story...first, she claimed there were stains on the jeans, then she claimed that I sent a different pair of jeans than were in the pics, then after she opened a claim she claimed that there was a big rip in the seat. Of course, her pics showed all these things and mine did not. I was hoping that PM would see through this, but unfortunately, they ruled in her favor. Short of videoing myself packaging up each purchase, I don't know how to prove that I sent the item shown in my pictures. I am afraid to see what she sends back to me. My gut says that she damaged her favorite jeans and then went searching for an identical pair on PM to switch with. Thank you for this timely video. I have only had one other case against me as a seller and it was resolved in my favor.

Congratulations to you and your family! I have a 5 and a 3 year old, and have been a reseller right after the birth of my first son. My best advice ( that I don't follow enough) is to take breaks and rest when your body tells you to. As resellers, we always want to do more, However if you don't take care of yourself first, everything else won't work 😉👍🏽

Thanks so much for the tips!! I was able to sell almost $2500 to Style Encore (owned by platos closet where I live) in less than 2 WEEKS! I know this is not typical and probably won't continue consistently but its been a great way to move stale inventory in a slow sales month and build up an emergency savings fund really quickly :)

I just wonder where it is possible to buy good things to resale for $3 😮? I'm in canada, but i know that thrift stores are expensive in US too😢

Ahhhh I'm glad you clarified that you can use Priority Boxes, just not Flat rate ones, I completely forgot those boxes existed!

Stay Away From Whatnot is my advice. Bad for buyers and sellers. Changing clasps to different designers, sourcing from Temu, adding new "vintage looking" pieces in with supposed estate lots. Items arriving broken or not at all. I try not to get WN involved in those cases but when the sellers encourage me to, I receive a full refund...not just on 1 piece, but the whole order. Then the sellers hate you! Sellers buying back and forth from each other. It's an expensive social event. Wanted to support women owned businesses, but I'm done. Overpriced everything you can buy on eBay with a guarantee for much less. I should do a psa. Dogs barking, cats and kids sitting on display tables...it's a hot mess.
