The worst aspects of Control is the one save file and lack of NG+ which would at the very least add the outfits to your game from the beginning. As is You only get to use this Outfit After you beat the Main game and then do AWE up to the Arcade / Area where you encounter Hartman and you have it from then on and of course in the Foundation DLC afterwards.. truly a waste of the best outfit in the game.

I’ve completed all the games on both arcade machines several times and never got the suit… what is the issue

i done it!!! i completed the crowd control challenge :) you might be interested to know how i done it, but i didn't play aggresively, more defensively. i start off by launching as much as i can against everything in front of me (generally shielded or propelled grenade enemies). after that, i retreat back into the toilet to your left where you start. i thought of it like a choke point, as they can only come at me from in front. i get my energy back, then throw stuff at the ones who adavance upon my toilet fort. when i knock them down with what i throw, i shoot until i can seize them. rinse and repeat. when i have seized a few hiss, i step out and help them out with the rest of the remaining wave. there was one sour point within the last few minutes, where an armoured trooper with a machine gun steps right up to the toilet door but doesn't come in. you can retreat back into the toilet then to the right, where a wall blocks his attacks. unfortunately, jesse launches with her right hand, so i couldn't step out to the left and break his shield with a launch, so i managed it by using shield barrage. not perfect, but i did take one for the team with that part. it wasn't all smooth sailing, as the hiss are considerably buffed in this challenge. it was fun doing it this way, you should try it some time ;)

i can't believe you completed that deadline challenge! it was SO damn close. about 10 times the clock was down to 2 or 1 seconds!

to be honest, the challege run seems easier, as i saw no hiss clusters at all! what mods have you got on the grip (ammo refund chance on hits?)

maybe i should be tackling these shum challenges AFTER i have completed the base game and fully maxed out my chosen abilities ;) i mamged to do the first crowd control without being fully maxed out & finishing the game first, but i could have been lucky there. i'm sure there is some rng to it though, a few times when i played it, i had a hiss cluster nearly every wave!

"it's easier with the new abilities!" good point! there should be an option to play it with the same abilities that you would have had when first ecountering it in the base game first time around (probably that would be too complicated for remedy to integrate?).

the best advice i ever read from someone was to just dash in one direction away from the former boss's melee attacks. if it makes a melee attack, dash left (then make sure not to move right!), if he does another, dash left again. the only problem is that the former changes position around the fight arena. i'm assuming that the larger red faced clocks do more damage if you throw them at the boss?

i feel shum apdates would be extremely beneficial. even simple wave based combat where you can travel through a whole sector map. it is a shame there are no options to do this until after you finish the base game. due to control's awful autosave system, it makes it impossible to create manual saves, or have autosaves. even autosaves would be welcome, as i really would have loved the option of replaying a boss to hone my muscle memory on how to beat that boss smoothly. i know that there is a nexus mod that enables you to back up save files and re-import them, but feedback from my queries there has been...nonexistent?

mouse & keyboard doesn't hurt when an edge in combat is needed :)

Only difficult challenge would be the Deadline(challenge). It's mainly based on RNG because sometimes enemies get hidden draining your time trying to find them.

I did all the shum and shum 2 challenges but it didn't give me the dress ☹️☹️☹️☹️ what should I do? (I don't know if that's why but I did it on different days .. Do I have to do them all in the same game?)

if i die in shum 2 do i have to go back from the beginning like the first boss from top to bottom? or does it matter the order?

Deadline is a pain in the ass. I always waste 20 seconds looking for the last guy that's hiding behind some pillar somewhere. I'll just turn on one-hit kills.
