Following the Appalachian Trail Surprise, I decided to take off on an added adventure that would take me over four summits in three states... all in one day! Along the trail was the highest point in Connecticut, which is not the highest summit, but on the side of another mountain. There was also a marker where all three states meet, and a section of Appalachian Trail which was north of where I entered... some day I'll do the full Connecticut section, but at least I added some more AT miles to my trip!
There are so many landmarks and views that can only be accessed on foot, so I invite you to join me on these adventures, but also recommend that you GET OUT and find your own adventures - who knows what wonders you may see!
