HBO ran this movie a lot in the late 80s, when I was a kid. I watched it over and over again. It’s one of those absurd movies in which every character has to be laughably incompetent for it to work, but I still love it. All these years later I still jokingly use the last name “Goolihy” when I get the chance.

I was 7 years old when this came out. I really miss my childhood. People were sensible and taught young people how to act. We respected our adults. I cried remembering my father.

"Bring that whip and that other chain and follow me into the kitchen"!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The way the actress dropped character and laughed, you can tell Richard improvised that. Thank you Richard for the laughs.
