I would very much have liked to hear your thoughts on the fascistic direction Jordan Peterson has taken in his video, "Message to the Churches." Spiritually speaking (gender aside), matriarchal wisdom can begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth). The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle. As all mothers have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is spiritually matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8). Sekhmet statues (ancient Egyptian) carry most of their weight in symbolic memory of what was a mother culture dedicated to the direct experience of baptism. As the leg shaped hairlocks extend from maternal breasts to the womb of rebirth, the lioness's head proportions are such that they highlight the bust of a second animal figure. The Lioness's ears as eyes and eyes as nose (nostrils) brings to life the figure of a reptile. 'Neath the halo headress of the solar egg, the lioness's egg fertilization process being internal (Set) and the reptile's egg fertilization process being external (Setting), such being key components to the safety of entering the trans-egoic or "born again" state. The life threatening fear associated with the predatory nature of a lion and/or crocodile encounter are reflective of the intense ego death experience associated with the transpersonal awakening process. In spiritually matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary "ego" death mask) as the high state of cyclical self knowing; high awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower (later) patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld, her inevitable cyclical destiny. The male pharaoh wears his beard tapered in reverse, indicating a pointing upwards towards the patriarchal head, divine representative of God's tail end cycle. To carry the Ankh was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower (later) "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle. Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society. A whole temple was dedicated to the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor, who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. th-cam.com/video/J0m0zJSEFK0/w-d-xo.html In the name of the Father, the Son and the holy ghosted... ? ... inevitability.

Have you read The Alphabet vs The Goddess by Leonard Schlain? It's the most powerful book I've ever read. It's by a brain surgeon who chronicles history by analyzing the brain. Originally ALL societies around the world were matriarchal, loving, and peaceful. I won't give away the punchline, but it blew me away.

And the idea of roots is also ancient, but this combination has certainly come to represent black struggle. But the combination of roots and fist can be found as early as 1917 to represent worker's struggle. timeline.com/a-visual-history-of-the-fist-e0c4861f856a Nevertheless, we've stopped using this combination. However, we aren't sure it warrants removing everything we've put out that still uses that imagery, which are pretty much a small handful of things like this.

I find it interesting that at no point did Paul say he was a Christian. He actually says the "opposite" (opposite until you actually examine the beliefs of the Pharisees which are actually very harmonious with Christianity: priesthood of the believer, resurrection afterlife with the Messiah, god present in any group even two or three, praying at meals. They taught that you not do to another what you did not want them doing to you. They built schools to teach the Torah, abjuring the Jewish Sadducees' religious elitism) in Acts 23:6 "I am a Pharisee." Not "had been." Not "used to be". Neither did he address any letters to "The Christians at...."

Thank you for this amazing episode!!! I was hoping for a more explicit conversation about christo-fascism and how to navigate it. Writing from Germany I do think that despite its flaws the Confessing Church with its double strategy of 1) declaring a split within the church (Barmen Declaration) and setting up parallel institutions (the underground seminary in Finkenwalde where Bonhoeffer taught) and 2) continuing to contest the dominant fascist "German Christian" group in the public realm wherever possible and even in church elections, is a useful model to build on.

I cannot tell you how many times people will comment that I won’t make any money/it’s a waste of time/I won’t get a job because it is not STEM or a trade. This is often a patronizing and rude remark. Kyle didn't have to do anything to provoke the rioters. His smug, privileged, white presence alone was all the provocation they needed - that and the fact that he put out a fire in a dumpster that they were pushing towards a gas station. They probably didn't like the fact that he was seen earlier conferring with police or the fact that he would be a witness to to any acts of arson that they had done and planned for that evening. They certainly didn't like his wholesome disapproval of their rioting behaviors. And they really didn't like the fact that he was moments away from turning himself in to police. They wanted to F him up first. Oh by the way, he did not fire the first shot. It appears that Joseph had a confederate who fired into the air at the same time Joseph was trying to wrest the gun away from Kyle. And no, Joseph was up to no good. He was seen earlier trying to escalate the situation and was completely berserk.

Ready to help those on both sides of the aisle as can be seen in the videos in which he was offering medical aid to some of the protesters. His entire countenance and use and display of his firearm spoke volumes about his interest in only using it for self defense. I will assume for the moment that the firearm which he had did not cross state lines, and that it was handed to him by someone in his group who was legally authorized to supervise his use of that gun. He never used it or his hands against anyone until he was at the brink of dying. People were attacking him and shooting at him and someone was trying to take away his firearm at the same time. In both instances he was the victim. His only crime, if you could call it that, was to be in a place where people detested him and his principles. Earlier that day he was clearing away graffiti. He has a job in the near vicinity so he was not just traveling to find trouble. He left the site of the first shooting after seeing dangerous aggressive rioters moving towards him with anger. If you had to hire someone to make good decisions in a stressful environment who was helpful, capable and friendly, and for whom you would have to rely on to protect you, himself, and your loved ones, you could not find a better person to do it from anybody in that crowd

In Toronto, where high fashion stores are boarding up because they are apparently expecting riots after a peaceful, non eventful march last weekend (the media were actually causing the most trouble in this instance), people are already discrediting any future protests by commenting on the antifa “professional protesters” and “provocateurs” who will allegedly be bussed in after the organizers apparently had time to get them in (which also relates to a certain anti-Semitic conspiracy,). Such rumours are discrediting anything protesters do, and justifies further police violence despite the aims of the protests. Even if you say you don’t condone property damage, circulating these myths of the outside instigators and antifa anarchist trouble makers is so harmful. In fact it is putting lives at risk. So, for anyone who is committed to non violence, do less violence by not giving into this rhetoric.

Thank you both for your witness and all of your work on these videos. Since the pandemic started I've found I have to limit what voices I expose myself to online in order to maintain a level mental health I need to function. Yours is one I return to regularly because I know I can rely on it to be insightful, compassionate and prophetic.
