Overview of Tracer SMS Kits
Kit Notes:
The kit enables Operators to don body armor as necessary while assisting in thermal load management.
- The Stout SCOUT and Rig Plate Bag combo offers a superior alternative to competitors like the Crye R-series. The competitor's product can only carry three mags and lacks the versatility to change between calibers, making it more complicated to switch setups. In contrast, our product provides flexibility and ease of customization while maintaining a base that carries a full combat load.
- This kit has undergone rigorous field testing by various groups, including 10th and 1st SFG, as well as NSW and Marine Force Reconnaissance units with feedback integrated into the design process. The relationships we have built with these groups have helped us refine the product to meet real-world needs effectively.
- The modularity of the SCOUT rig and rig plate bag combo allows for quick changes to adapt to different operational environments. The H-harness design is compatible with other competitors' chest rigs that use ITW or Duraflex (National Molding) 1” buckles, adding to the versatility and adaptability of the system.
-Mission sets that are benefited from this equipment:
Special reconnaissance - This allows operators to change out equipment as the mission changes from reconnaissance to direct action.
CBRN - this kit allows for an alternate plate carrier when going through a DCON line and has the ability to use an attached a PARR system.
SUT - provides a chest rig that can actually carry a basic load plus. The Gunner Kit allows a saw gunner to carry 600 rounds without having to utilize a bag.
Arctic environments - This kit allows the subject matter to have a chest rig with a basic combat load plus well, not doing kinetic operations. Then pack small and the polkas to be able to utilize body armor when going kinetic then being able to take it off to conduct movement to avoid sweating which is a safety risk in that environment. This also reduces risk during live fire training exercises.
Unconventional warfare - This kit allows us to infill without body armor to help reduce the risk of overheating, but yet carry plates in our rucks so that we can upgrade our body armor as the threat level rises. Or if we’re going through other logistical networks, body armor can be dropped off in a very small reasonable package
Maritime operations - This kit is also available in a mesh material to allow for drainage for combat divers and maritime operations

For those here in 2024: These 132B shells are like $200-250+ on eBay now. But, you might find a cheap auction. Keep your eyes peeled. (October 2024) Surplus ACH and MICH from Gentex or MSA are about the same now on eBay. But, these are at least good-to-go as-is. You can modify the ears with a sharpie and a cordless jig-saw. (it's WAY easier than you think.) Happy huntin' boys.

Ive had one of these for a little less than a year now. Went from having s boonie attached to it, then just running it bare. Its really cool and discreet fo when you dont want a helmet when youre camping or backpacking.
Do i still need to use a cummerbund or can i use the chest rig strap?
I just ordered a Pelican case myself I told work it was for cameras but we both know what it's really for TA 50. Once a guardian always a guardian this is the way
This has been great, but the unity harness that comes with it makes the strapes a little harder to mount everything. Would it be too much to ask for an update with the unity shroud and the chin strap and battery back?
