I love my Anatolians. It’s remarkable how the females can notice and scent the smallest farthest detail with such accuracy. I’m sure the males can too but it’s our girl that sees things and bolts while he boys are still getting up to see where she’s going. lol
I think you're right! Our male just barks and barks at things, but the female will just stick her head up and only act if it's an actual threat. Someone had told us they can sense threats miles away!

Your dog saw the fox way down there! Were the animals inside the fence making noises alerting the guard dog because they saw the fox or is the dog just "eagle eyed" ?
I'm not sure what alerted her to it. She was inside the house and started barking and pawing at the door (which is unusual for her) and as soon as we opened the door, she went charging down the hill. We saw the fox run away as she came out and pulled the video from our front camera.

@geniusjohn8280 That's what Anatolian's do! Livestock guardians. They're an incredible breed. You might Google some about them or watch more videos if you're looking for a dog to protect your farm. We've been amazed at them. The only trouble we've had is with birds and accidental kills. They keep a lot of predators away. Never see any coyotes, haven't had a fox problem anymore (they killed several guineas which is why we got them), and they've protected the chickens and guineas from foxes, raccoons, and skunks.
A fox is only trying to do what we as humans do and that is survive - Having guard dogs like Lea will send the message to this animal that its not safe and best avoided -good fencing and general husbandry can secure your livestock and avoid unnecessary loss on all sides is what I reckon 👍🏻
We got our livestock guardians to protect our animals. These foxes in particular devoured all of our guinea fowl. Leia is doing her job and doing it well. The foxes aren't dead (to our knowledge) and neither are our livestock.

Loved Tecmo Baseketball! Always used to play as the Jazz, Stockton and Malone were a great combo!

I hear ya, but here's my issue: He averaged 18/3/3 in 38 mpg last season & his defense has been atrocious his entire career. I'm not saying he won't get there, I'm just saying I'm skeptical. I actually thought we'd see him average a 15/5/5 line in around 26 mpg this season and that he would show up more rounded.
