Hello Sir in the end of this question you have provided the remedies against ex-parte decree while in the contents you have provided that if the court upholds the decree despite of valid grounds provided by the defendant then review lies, or application or appeal. i dont understand whether the review lies against order whereby the court rejected the request to set aside or the review lies against the ex-parte judgment itself kindly clarify
review can be applicable to both scenarios, depending on what the defendant believes needs correction-the ex-parte decree or the order refusing to set it aside.
