Watching this I caught myself saying “beautiful” out loud multiple times. These are absolutely gorgeous creatures, elegant yet functional. They seem so kind-hearted, and it’s lovely to see them interact with each other, never straying far from your sides. I’m glad they get to experience such lush green spaces. Seeing them jump over a fallen tree brought a tear to my eyes. Absolutely amazing video, showing the hard work of caring for multiple large dogs, but also showing a soft side with that calm music. Thank you.

Lovely Hounds! My first IW thirty years ago did the "sit on the couch with butt", AND had tail bleed...looked like an axe murder was in my dining groom for awhile. There is some variety in personality, my current rescue is VERY obedient...the first I've had that actually could go into an obedience competition. They are marvelous and addictive -- but also expensive to vet, feed, and care for.

It's been twenty years and I still hear the sound of him going round and round before dropping onto his bed with a contented sigh. Miss you son.

Astonishingly beautiful dogs... graceful, gentle, and clearly happy. But what I really liked about this video is that it shows how much work and dedication it takes to take care of these gentle giants. You could have just shown all those amazing pictures of y'all loping through the woods and everyone would say "ahhhh..." - which is true! - but with all the ah's, comes responsibility and work. You clearly are up for the challenge; I'd want all potential Irish Wolfhound owners to see this video and just make sure they are too 👍

Yeah, I grew up with an Irish Wolfhound in Maine, U.S.A. When I was seven, I had the bright idea to take her for a walk by myself. Mom said to make sure she didn't get away from me, so I wrapped the leash around my wrist, thinking she will never break out of this!! We lived across from a football field, and I took her for a short walk, thinking nice open space! Well when I got her over there, she must have seen something such as a cat or something, or maybe she just wanted to run; but she took off and I went sailing through the air, and slid behind her until she decided to stop...at the other side, from corner to corner (not the short distance)...When she did stop, with me in my destroyed Bugs Bunny shirt, looking around to see if anybody was watching, acted as if nothing happened! Of course she didn't realize what I went through. But there was nobody around, and I had to get up the courage to take her back. Realizing the power that she had was a true shock to me and I really didn't know if I could handle her, but she was trained well, and was real gentle with me after that. We went back to the house and my mom took one look at me and checked me for any damage. There was none, as it was a very wet spring, and the field was very soggy, I just slid like a toboggin- some minor bruises and scrapes.

I remember about this many weeks with puppies had my friend having crying spells occasionally. so loud they’d keep her awake, etc etc. couldn’t get ‘em out quick enough once it was her last week with them, week 7..

Is second breed dog 🐩 more big because first is Great Dane more biggest dog 🐕

I love ❤️ watching your channel. I wish I could hear the dog’s footsteps, the flowing of the streams. The birds and nature instead of the music. 😢 Besides that they are beautiful souls. My hound is 3 years old and essentially I’m his world where I go he goes. ❤️❤️❤️

This is such a wholesome video full of love and caring. I have immense respect for ladies like in this video who do all the work of the dogs - cooking, feeding, cleaning, grooming. Truly a mother to the hounds.

Everybody in my family is big and tall. All the males are at least 6'4 and women 5'11. We had an Irish Wolfhound growing up. She fit right in. All the neighbors thought it was funny that we had a dog to match our size.
